Found Deceased SC - Faye Marie Swetlik, 6, Cayce, 10 Feb 2020 #5

If a child had been placed in a freezer it would have been apparent at autopsy. It’s hard to imagine that the perp had anything other than a typical refrigerator, and something in an apartment that size probably would not hold a child in the freezer compartment. Anything like a deep freeze would have been opened by LE during inspection.

it’s impossible (with what we know) to guess where he placed her between the time of her disappearance and the time she was found. They’ve said she was only alive a very short time after being abducted. I don’t believe that he moved her multiple times

Freezing a body would certainly show up at autopsy but knowing that doesn't disprove the idea that the body might have been frozen... since we only know how Faye was murdered. That's why speculating that she might have been placed in the refrigerator or freezer is perfectly reasonable, imo... there is nothing that I know of to disprove that theory since, as you said yourself, we don't know where he hid Faye. Being refrigerated would slow decomposition / odor which is the main reason for the theory to have some merit, imo, if Faye was hidden in the apt. at all. She may have been in the storage unit for all we know but, if cadaver dogs missed that... well, time for some new dogs, imo.

CT's apartment is a 1,100 square foot area and the stove and dishwasher are standard size. I can't think of any reason why "in an apartment that size" they'd put a small refrigerator in the kitchen. It's not a studio or efficiency apt. In fact, the rental ad states:
"This is a spacious townhome that features an over-sized living room, a spacious eat-in kitchen, and large bedrooms."

I actually do have a small to average sized refrigerator... (2nd to smallest sized Kenmore from Sears bought in 2001) A child Faye's size and weight would fit into either compartment with plenty of room to spare. So, imo, it's very possible.

Respectfully: I'm not sure of your meaning at the end of your comment. We were told by LE that Faye died very shortly after her abduction but what does that have to do with the idea that CT didn't move her body multiple times? Are you connecting those 2 ideas? FWIW, I also don't think CT moved Faye "multiple times." But, I do think he may have moved her one time as LE was obviously not going anywhere and CT could have been aware that, sooner or later, they were going to come calling on him.

The thing is, people like to speculate and until a theory can be ruled out by known facts that disprove that theory then... it's all fair game to me until we learn otherwise; if we ever do.

Fair enough. Had a feeling I would get responses saying I was feeding into the rumor mill. I know what I saw could have been nothing. I just saw the picture today and felt like I needed to say something, even if it was someone else minding their own business. DPS has the info, nothing the internet can do with it but speculate. I deleted the post, would you mind deleting the quoted part here? I don’t want screenshots ending up on fb.

Deleted as requested and you should probably delete my scrapped reply that's also copied in your post.

Just to be clear --I replied to your first post and the later one and both posts never came off to me as your having just seen the photo today on the internet and then contacted tipline. I read it like this all went down Feb 12-- long before the suicide, victim located, or identity known.

It's a very disturbing case and again, I'm sorry that it touched you being local and so close to home.

Thanks for providing the apartment link -- I noticed that the unit is also described as having washer/dryer hook-up -- not that it's furnished with washer/dryer.
This came up earlier.

Personally -- I don't see CT and an absent roommate investing in their own w/d, and probably more likely do laundry elsewhere.

I don't see 2 guys chipping in on a washer and dryer either and they often aren't included in a rental. Good point. This is horrible to say but... roomie probably takes his dirty laundry (or is already at his girl friend's apartment) when he undresses and throws his clothing into her pile of laundry. And CT had a job requiring a uniform so probably had no huge piles of clothing to contend with on a regular basis. These days they can take along their cell phone and entertain themselves the whole time the wash and dry is being done by machines in the laundromat. If that's so... 2 hiding places have just been eliminated.

My son, and an old boyfriend from days of yore, and myself... all have or had "uniform jobs." It definitely cuts down on laundry.

RIP, dear girl, peace & comfort to your loved ones!

May God send His peace and comfort to Faye's family, even now and throughout the coming weeks and months... Also this evening, Faye's classmates and her sweet teachers are in my thoughts and prayers! There is nothing worse as a teacher than to see an empty desk in your classroom, or an empty spot when your class lines up. Imagine the ongoing conversations in Faye's classroom over these next few weeks and months, and let's keep them in our hearts and prayers.

Prayers also for the many children (and for their parents/grandparents, too, who have the challenging job of listening, giving warm hugs, words of comfort and reassurance, even while they themselves have aching hearts) who will be at Faye's service tonight... 6 or 7 is such a young age to ponder the loss of a classmate or friend. It's one thing -- and a sad thing, too -- for young children to discover a bird or an animal (especially a beloved pet) that has passed away, but to lose a *human* whom one knows? So much worse. Such an impressionable age.

Thinking too of the LE team who were right there when Faye was discovered... May they, too, know God's deep peace and comfort...

On the same day Taylor was questioned by police, (Feb 12) Taylor worked that day, according to Wingstop. They confirmed to WACH FOX via email that February 12 was the last day he worked.
Wingstop's corporate office did not say which shift or time he worked on February 12.
Officials: Coty Taylor's roommate found his body

A Wingstop spokesperson said they are continuing to work with law enforcement as they continue to investigate and understand all facts of the case.
Neighbors, employers of Coty Taylor speak out

All that was said about the autopsy was that she had died of asphyxiation. A body that size would easily fit into a freezer compartment of a fridge. I can actually fit into my freezer compartment if I take out the shelves. I could step in and might be able to shut the door. I know that from cleaning it out. I'm a short person, but I'm taller than Faye and quite a bit heavier. My fridge is pretty average size. He had probably already heard LE was searching everywhere. IMO, if she was killed Monday, by Wednesday, there would have been an odor unless he had done something to slow down decomp. If the body was in a dark garbage bag, they may not have even seen the bag if it was in a dark area and no light shone on it. My grandkids used to hide under the chairs in the living room, not a space you would think they could hide completely, but they could.

He wasn't interviewed, he wasn't interrogated, he was "spoken to". His house wasn't searched, police were "in it". Have you people never been even tangentially involved in a police investigation? They talked to everyone. When they do that, they just briefly put them on the spot and look for fearful reactions. Taylor for whatever reason didn't click when he was spoken to and that was it.

He does kind of seem like the sort of person who would get rattled by police though. That makes me think either the officer who spoke to him missed a sign, which I'm sure he was feeling absolutely horrible about until it was established Faye had been long gone at the time or it could suggest that Taylor had in fact done something like this before and successfully escaped detection so he was confident at the time that he could escape again.
Agreed that cops just spoke to him. He did get two manager jobs so maybe he was not too weird acting when he tried.
