MISSING MAN: Allegheny County police searching for man last seen in Penn Hills, known to frequent Verona and Sheraden in Pittsburgh

Christian Moore- Rouse is a 22-year-old, light complected black male, standing 5'09" tall weighing approximately 135 pounds. He wears his hair in an afro style. His last known whereabouts is the Dollar Tree on Rodi Road in Penn Hills on December 21, 2019. At the time, he was wearing a blue hooded jacket over a sweatshirt and dark colored pants.

He is known to frequent the Verona, Penn Hills and Sheraden (Pittsburgh) areas of Allegheny County and generally uses public transportation.

Adam Rosenberg is already a suspect in the slaying of Jeremy Dentel (at Dentel's house).

However, another as yet unidentified body has been found outside Rosenberg's family home today.

"The body is believed to be that of a person who has been missing. Police have not yet identified the body."

Regarding the Jeremy Dentel homicide.

"According to a criminal complaint, the men had been messaging each other in the days and minutes before the shooting. Rosenberg asked the victim if he lived alone then repeatedly asked to meet up until Dentel agreed to have him over Saturday night.

Surveillance video from a neighbor’s home shows a man putting on gloves before entering Dentel’s home around 6 p.m. Less than a minute later, the video shows the same man leaving the home, getting into a car and speeding off, the complaint said.

The next day, the victim’s parents found him face down in the hallway."

A 21-year-old man who was previously charged with homicide after the shooting death of a Baldwin man is now facing a second homicide charge in connection with the death of a man who was reported missing in December.

Christian Moore-Rouse, 22, of Verona, was reported as a missing person on Dec. 25 after last being seen on Dec. 21.

Police said that over the course of several months, investigative leads were developed in both the homicide and missing person investigations implicating Adam Rosenberg in the disappearance of Moore-Rouse.

Rosenberg is charged with criminal homicide, robbery, abuse of corpse, tampering with evidence and firearms violations in connection with Moore-Rouse's death.

In the charging documents, police said that an unnamed person identified as Witness #3 told them Feb. 19 — the day Mr. Rosenberg was charged in Mr. Dentel’s death — that there might be a body in the woods near Mr. Rosenberg’s house. Witness #3 told detectives that Mr. Rosenberg had been making all kinds of wild claims.

“Witness #3 heard Rosenberg make numerous comments about ‘catching a body’ and referenced killing someone and putting their body in the woods by his [Rosenberg’s] house,” the complaint said. “Witness #3 could not recall the person’s name in the interview, but Rosenberg referred to him as someone who ripped him [Rosenberg] off a while back.”

On May 7, police met once again with Witness #3.

“Witness #3 told detectives that Rosenberg told him/her about a person named Christian that ‘set him up to be robbed.’ Rosenberg indicated that he was going to do ‘something’ to Christian for setting him up,” the complaint said, “but then told Witness #3 he was ‘just kidding.’

“Witness #3 recalled that Adam Rosenberg told him/her about this plan to meet up with Christian while they were together in person, and the plan was for Rosenberg to meet Christian either that same day or the next day. Rosenberg said that he planned to meet up with Christian to play video games and smoke weed.”

Mr. Rosenberg told the witness about the Uber ride, according to the complaint. The final moments of Mr. Moore-Rouse’s life are described in chilling detail.

“Rosenberg told Witness #3 that once Christian got out of the Uber, Rosenberg and Christian talked and walked away from the Uber, with Christian walking in front of Rosenberg. Rosenberg told Witness #3 that he pretended to be on his phone until the Uber driver turned around and disappeared down the road. Rosenberg said that once the Uber driver was gone, he shot Christian in the back of the head.

“Rosenberg told Witness #3 that he dragged the body down the driveway, left it in a ditch and just ‘left it there.’ Rosenberg disclosed that he did a ‘bad job’ because he did not cover the body and someone would be able to see it. Rosenberg told Witness #3 that he took Christian’s cell phone and backpack.

“Witness #3 stated that when Rosenberg told him/her this, he/she did not believe him.”
