I will have to read through everything later but does it appear like the EEOC gave a right to sue in federal court? My statement is based on the settlement.

I don't know. All I see is the second document states
"Notification of the Right to Sue was received from the U.S. Department of Justice
on or about January 22, 2016."

I doubt the attorney just took TS's word for that.

The 3rd document says "settled" but maybe that doesn't mean "settlement" in the usual sense?
Maybe there's an attorney among us who could help? Maybe you are one?

I’m curious. Has anyone ever been at a rest stop (as an example) & seen a prisoner transport being escorted in/out of the bathroom?

I have never seen this in all my travels. I’m happy about that I guess. lol

Actually, someone posted just yesterday about seeing that very thing at a rest stop. He or she waited in the car until the prisoner and police had left. I have personally never seen it.

Wow. Wonder what the settlement was? I wish it was easier to get into the licensure database in SC. I'd like to know if the man she accused still holds a license. (Don't think the HR person would have to but an assistant principal would as far as I know.)

Best I can find so far is $19, 7oo.70. I’m still working on them. I first found the docs through the civil rights uscourt system with a file # that was listed in files that were pulled under the FOIA. I pulled the file# of the request for FOIA .XLS report. Cross referenced with Wayback and pulled the docs from a web crawl.

eta: someone wanted those docs hidden well away. They seem to correlate with dates of sc licensure removal. I need to work on this and will appreciate any help.

If she chose to dump him in a dumpster, which is a strong possibility, I have to wonder if it was a dumpster associated with the school she was supposed to teach at or the district building of the people who fired her. Anyone know which landfill those dumpsters would be taken to?
I did some searches of dumpsters and compounders in CS several threads ago. I was searching for those that might have had CCTV cameras, side openings and immediately compressed whatever was thrown in.. LE stated in first presser that they had been in contact with landfill sites serving CS, but for the first week everybody was just thinking local , until RD's CCTV emerged.
I did no research on Castlerock which may possibly have even more options, locations and types. And may be served by completely different landfills.

Replying to myself because I just had another thought. Gannon’s church. Very few if anyone would be there in the middle of the day on a Monday and we know they have searched there. Does this church have a dumpster?

TS said the wood and the sock must have flew out the back of the truck. I’m assuming that these items must have been found very close to the side of a road, possibly in a ditch if they “flew out of the truck”. If she was just chucking evidence of a murder out of the car she was rushed, frenzied as well as lazy and stupid. Just like the wood and sock I don’t think she hid him well initially because of her frenzy. She looked flustered when she returned home alone. It seemed like she still had more work to do and little time. She was planning her next moves and I think that’s where the rental car comes in to move him to another location maybe a dumpster as somebody suggested or thrown down a ravine. LE knows a ton from her frenzied actions and mistakes and they will hopefully recover him soon so COD can be confirmed.

Wow, you go @imstilla.grandma! Great work.

If there was a settlement, I'm sure Horry Co wanted to keep it quiet. We see that everywhere, unfortunately.

If Castle Rock is basically an outlet mall, my sense is that outlet malls probably tend to have a lot of relatively lightly supervised dumpsters … and they're probably pretty yucky and smelly anyway, given the typical mix of retail and restaurant traffic …

I really really hate to bring up the mileage issue again (sorry:oops:) and I have nothing to say about the actual miles, what I do want to say is that she collected the car full and returned it empty.
don't they charge waaay more to fill up if you return it empty? If so she must have been in a hurry...or just didn't care about cost. I'm one of those people who pinch pennies everywhere possible.

You can narrow it further if you run estimates on time she spent on all her stated stops, but I realize all she said may well be hogwash.
My point is that there is a finite number of tracks off the road she said she traveled.
If we run with the threw him from a height, we can narrow that further.
If we go with a dumpster theory the road she said she took would only have been used to dump bits of evidence of his prior injuries from the vehicle, blood stained items, possibly a murder weapon..
@kittythehare to further narrow the search, TS would take him to an area where the sound of a shotgun blast would not arouse suspicion. This eliminates tourist areas and housing and shopping developments. Does Colorado have state game lands?

If she, as the driver and only person in the truck, was throwing stuff out the window of the truck, then she either had to be going down the wrong side of the road OR throwing it across the front seat and out the passenger window. The first is very noticeable to other drivers and the second would be difficult and messy. Was there someone else with her, I wonder?

They have security cameras and while it isnt off of a busy busy street, it is seen seen easily from the road and still would be a risky place to choose.

Edited to add: lots of people are there on a monday. They run a daycare too.

But, why would she have chosen a gun when she had bare hand which would leave no evidence at all? It was Monday morning, not everywhere was populated.

As someone who works at a school, it is well known there is surveillance on premises. I just can’t imagine her going to a place where she could be seen and or questioned on what she is doing there. I’m totally with you on the dumpster theory and the fact she used one she was familiar with, but I think perhaps she did a Fotis Dulos and disposed of things all over the area MOO IMO and all of that of course.

Never have seen that either. I watched a video on extradition transport and they had a toilet right in the van to eliminate bathroom breaks. This makes sense because it would be a real pain to stop every time a prisoner had to use the toilet especially if transporting more than 1 prisoner. Also, having a bathroom in the transport vehicle would lessen the chances of escape.

I think it's possible but it would have left traces, body parts and traces on whatever weapon she used.
It won't help finding his location though.
He was weak.
Her bare hands could have snuffed his life out in no time. Killing is too easy.
WHERE IS HE?

LE must have found very incriminating evidence to say that Gannon is dead. Awful as it sounds, my guess is that the bloody board or other item may have had trace amounts of tissue that could only come from a death blow. Such as lung, brain or heart tissue.
