JMO, it is enough for a judge to refuse spousal support. But I do not know Colorado law. I believe any judge will go through the law books looking for a way to smack her down in court.

There's where we need the SC Judge schoolin' her: "Wellllllll, Young Lady, I'm just asking the question: where's your NEED for support? I don't care what your answer is, because I already know who's footin' your bills for the next 156 years or so and NO, I don't care to hear your opinion since I already advised you to shut your mouth. Bailiff, go find that nice Deputy that escorted this Young Lady from here..." JMO Just levity in hysteria, Folks.

Out for a time traveling so still trying to get through multiple threads so sorry if already discussed. As to the question of where she could hide a device at Petco, I help with a couple of pet rescue and adoption groups and make a lot of runs to our local store, sometimes more than once a day if we are showing available kitties. The reptile area is always largely vacant of customers and seems to hold items for a long time. The pet bed area also gets little traffic. Maybe it’s just our store but as long as she didn’t leave anything in the food, treat or toy sections, I can see a hidden phone going untouched.

Question, now that the Kansas sheriff has confirmed the assault on the deputy, what could have been said or done that would engender the comment that, “The whole extradition process is going to be a part of the case,” per the El Paso County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman. Is it something aside from the assault, something she said on the way or could she now, after “appearing” so confused about extradition, is saying she didn’t understand and was “forced” by the judge? I would love to know what transpired on the 100 mile trip from her hospital visit to her overnight jail stay in Saline County.

Kansas sheriff: Gannon Stauch stepmom Letecia Stauch attacked deputy during transport

Reminds me of the Kaitlyn Bennet case from 1977, coincidentally in El Paso county. She was brutally attacked and raped, then thrown down a cliff off Gold Camp Rd. There's no way her attacker expected her to survive AND climb all the way back to the top. Truly remarkable. I don't think that happened to Gannon here, but it's definitely not outside the realm of possibilities.

Maybe, early on, LE was optimistic that this could be the scenario.

Google maps has it as a 25 minute drive from the Petco on Nevada Avenue to the 'S' turn on South Perry Park Rd, and about 30 minutes from that same Petco to the area of the search on Noe Rd.

Interesting. Timeline still tight. This throws any of the more intricate theories of what she possibly did out the window imo. It also would line up with things thrown out of the truck haphazardly, possibly even the need to return the next day with a rental and try to hide things better or drop off evidence she missed. Hmmm. Perhaps she was hesitant about confirming Petco visits because it narrows down where he could be substantially with what we already know about where they were searching. Basically tells us she had to quickly hide him somewhere between those 2 places. Okay! I have to go tend to life. I will check back in later.

I suppose that could be put on delay till a future date and give him a divorce now. Spousal support isn't common anymore, especially in 'short term' marriages and currently the taxpayers of the great state of Colorado are supporting her.
I can imagine TS requesting it just to be spiteful. Claiming the need for money on her books, for toiletries, snacks, etc. I put nothing past her wanting to twist the knife. Possibly even contesting the divorce too.

A driver's license is property of the state, and can be rescinded, right? Same with a passport? Or am I wrong?

Passports can be revoked - but not by a County Sheriff's office. A judge can take a passport as part of a criminal process. I'll bet in this case LE just asked her for it and she gave it over.

No one is going to be shocked if she lied, but I want to point out that in the phone call she never says she ACTUALLY went to Play It Again Sports (see the strange phrasing she uses.) Just after the caller mentions that S&R has been digging out in the snow in an area so far away (Douglas Co.) & questions why would they be doing that because Gannon couldn't have gotten that far, right?

TS responds, "they're digging in the snow simply because our GPS pinged!" (What does she mean "our GPS?" She must know her watch or tracking pings from the truck gave off pings.)

"I went to the Douglas County area because we were going to buy a bike for my husband for Valentine's Day!"
*"Area" is very vague and she makes NO mention of hockey equipment for Gannon! Also notice NO mention of taking a detour to avoid a car accident (that's because there wasn't one,) yet she knows they can place her on those remote back roads with no real reason! I guess she wanted to take the scenic route

Then later when asked why she went to a Petco that was "3 Petcos from her house" instead of one closer, TS responds:
"The reason we went that way is because we were going to talk to someone about the Play It Again Sports and the bike. So if I went to that Petco, I'm sorry they're all freaked out it's the wrong Petco!"

She says they were going to talk to someone about PIAS, NOT that they really ended up going there.
IMO she knew that LE was going to get tracking pings up in Douglas County so she needed to come up with a reason why she was in that area---->enter PIAS! I'm not convinced that she actually went there, maybe just somewhere close to there (if being tracked.) Also most PIAS are smaller shops and I've never noticed a camera in the ones I've been to. So, unless she bought something on a credit card, there's no way to verify if she was there or not.

MOO JMO

I didn’t read every post today so this may have already been mentioned. LS may have disposed of Gannon before she even visited PetCo the first time. She could have pushed him off a cliff or something south of her home then headed the other direction to get rid of other evidence and throw them off. She may have even sold the items she brought, as well as his electronics, to get $ to run.

ROTFLMAO!
"Young lady, where's your attorney"?
Please tell me that the taxpayers of CO are not also burdened with supplying her a divorce attorney???

Bless that man, for his efforts and for holding his tongue... I can only hope he wasn't reading here, or anywhere else on the Internet for that matter, as others (including Tecia) accused him of pecuniary interest... being a glory hog seeking press... possible involvement... etc., etc.
I know, how terrible. I think he's an absolute hero for staying up and putting time in to watch all his footage. Bless him. It makes me tear up to think about it. He just genuinely was doing what he could to help. Shame on T for trying to discredit him. I never believed any of what she said.

Why didnt she go to the Play it Again Sports 32 minutes away? Was she ever asked?

yes and she said something like, "Who cares which one" and "I was going to Castle Rock."

Since I too do not believe she was going to Castle Rock, then that Petco on Nevada is important. That's why she hesitated so long before she answered and got on the defensive. She seemed surprised that the woman she was talking to knew about Petco. She also said something about "dog coats" and how can dog coats be related to someone's disappearance? Something like that. It's been a few hours since I listened.
