CO CO - Charlene Voight, 36, Littleton, 8 July 2016

Justice for Charlene
And her dog Toby
Finally..........

Prayers to her family and loved ones.

"Nobody should be able to walk away from murder," said District Attorney George Brauchler in a statement. "I will do everything in my power to bring a perpetrator to justice. I am pleased that in the death of Charlene Voight, there is now a process in place to accomplish that."

Can't be a coincidence that she was potentially murdered the same night of a rape. Sounds like he was trying to avoid jail time for something and instead created a much bigger mess for himself. Disgusting that he also killed the dog and decapitated it.

Charlene Voight had just moved to Littleton, Colorado from her family’s home in Southern California when she disappeared. The move, in part, was so she could finally be with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Jeff Beier. The “always happy” 36-year-old had just graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in Landscape Architecture, and she was excited to start a new career. After not hearing from their daughter for several days, which was extremely unusual, Charlene’s parents reported her missing on July 8, 2016. A few weeks after Charlene vanished, her boyfriend Beier was arrested on unrelated charges of sexual assault involving another woman. In March of 2018, authorities concluded a search of a landfill north of Denver in connection with Charlene’s case and while they did not find her body, they did find some of her clothes and the body of a small dog wrapped in a red sweater believed to have belonged to Charlene’s missing Chihuahua, Toby. The dog had been decapitated. In June 2020, an Arapahoe County grand jury in Colorado indicted Jeffery Scott Beier for Charlene’s murder. According to the affidavit, investigators believe Beier dumped the items at Tower Landfill in Commerce City, Colorado on July 2, 2016. He is charged with first-degree murder, first-degree felony murder, sexual assault, two counts of tampering with evidence, third-degree assault and two counts of attempting to influence a public servant, by misleading authorities about Charlene’s disappearance. He is also charged with aggravated animal cruelty. If convicted, he faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole. Charlene’s body has still not been found. If you have any information regarding Charlene’s case, please call the Littleton Police Department at (303) 794-1551.

Jeffrey Beier Arrested In Russia, Faces Murder Charges In 2016 Disappearance Of Girlfriend Charlene Voight

Snips:
Her car was found in a dirt lot owned by Beier that was used to store roll-off containers. The lot was not far from the couple’s apartment. A landfill search for her body was unsuccessful.

New court documents indicate Beier moved to Russia sometime after Voight’s disappearance and married a woman there and had a baby with her. They state that he was violent towards the woman several times and wound up having an affair with another woman.

So far it’s unclear when Beier will be brought back to the United States for a formal court hearing in Arapahoe County.

What a joke.

American man wanted for murder back home asks Putin for Russian citizenship, claiming political persecution by US authorities

Snip:
An American man who moved to Russia after allegedly murdering his girlfriend has appealed to President Vladimir Putin for citizenship, asking him for protection against “the arbitrariness of US authorities.”

......Beier hopes to obtain Russian citizenship. He claims to be the victim of political persecution and asserts that he is entitled to asylum. If the president opts to grant Beier a passport, it will be impossible for him to be extradited to the US. As per Russia’s constitution, it does not extradite its own citizens.
