Families issue statement about services for JJ and Tylee | East Idaho News

The Ryan, Vallow-Woodcock and Boudreaux families issued the following statement on Wednesday.

Statement:

To the countless people who have loved and come to love our angels, JJ and Tylee, we Thank You for the endless prayers and kind words of encouragement. You have truly uplifted and carried us through this nightmare. For that, we can never express the depth of our gratitude. We are humbled by the kindness of strangers and unity shown in hopes of finding the kids.

On June 9th our worst fears were confirmed with discovery of our beloved Tylee Ashlyn Ryan, 16 and Joshua Jaxon Vallow, 7. We are utterly devastated trying to comprehend how our children, full of brilliant light and jubilance for life, ended at the hands of those who were supposed to love and protect them. We look toward our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to give us even the tiniest bit of relief from this unfathomable pain and ultimately find some amount of peace.

We have utmost faith in the judicial process and are confident justice will prevail. We want to express our immeasurable gratitude to the numerous law enforcement agencies and officers who tirelessly worked this case amongst all the others within this tangled web.

Like us, many want to bid final farewell to JJ and Tylee. All plans are pending since their bodies have not been released, nor an estimated date is given. Upon release, we plan public services to be held in Rexburg ID., Phoenix AZ., then Lake Charles, LA. Please be assured once memorial details are finalized a public statement will be released.

God bless all of you for the continued outpouring of love and comfort towards our families. We will never forget how blessed we are to live in a society of immense compassion especially during these challenging times.

We ask you to continue to respect our families’ wishes of privacy during this difficult time.

Warmest regards,

The Ryan, Vallow-Woodcock and Boudreaux families

Nate Eaton on air with us giving an update on Daybell case

Excerpt;

Nate Eaton : "she hasn't been able to speak with Chad for three, four weeks now, she has been distanced from him. They spoke every day for hours, when she was originally arrested back in February/March, I mean they would have video chats for hours on end, and he was telling her stuff that wasn't necessarily true. I mean he was telling her lies, that the public supported her, this will all be over soon, that she would overcome this. Then he gets arrested and communication is suddenly shut off. It could be the fact that here she is removed from him and she goes into the courtroom and she sees her son face to face on the screen, Colby, and they're talking about her children and maybe it was a flash of something there.

As far as the insanity defense, Idaho technically, legally does not have that. What they could say is that she could be not fit for trial, and so they could say she is not fit to have this trial and they would then have her go for psychological evaluation at a mental health facility, something like that, with the goal of getting her fit so that she can go to trial. Now will her attorney say she was brainwashed by Chad, this was all Chad? I would imagine that could be a defense mechanism they use, pin it all on him. A lot of people wonder if one will now turn against the other, if she will go to police and say 'okay here's everything I know' or he could do that and try to pin it all on her, but every indication thus far is that they're still not talking. So this could go all the way to a trial, they may figure they have nothing to lose."

Unlike Hector Sosa, the owner of Another Voice of Warning (Christopher Parrett) has changed his tune. Parrett was an even more outspoken supporter of Chad Daybell until recently. Now he says he is cooperating with law enforcement. CLICK to read full statement posted on AVOW.

Earlier this year we ran a story about Pathway to Zion, a now shutdown internet forum created by another author who claims to have visions about the end of the world and published books through Chad Daybell's company. (1/2) Original story:

(7 Mar 2020) :

FOX 13 Investigates: Website associated with Chad Daybell and his followers shuts down

[snipped]

The forum was run by a man named Hector Sosa, Jr., one of the authors who wrote books through Chad Daybell's publishing company.

In a message leaked to FOX 13 by multiple members of Pathway to Zion, Sosa discussed his reasons for shutting down the website.

"A few days ago I was given a warning about our community," Sosa wrote. "It took a few days of prayer and discussion to get over the shock. The drama with Chad and Lori has emboldened unscrupulous local church leaders across the United States to use memberships to different communities as a sign of apostasy. PTZ membership will be used as grounds for ex-communication... The only responsible way to deal with this is to close the community and destroy the assets that belong to this community."

more to read in original article.

I tried to speak to the Sosa family in March. Since the discovery of JJ and Tylee, he has declined to say anything negative about his old friend. He refers to the children as "new evidence" that "has brought a bunch of new questions and old ones that remain unanswered."

Instead, Sosa has criticized the “Court of Public Opinion” for “already deciding that those two are guilty.”

“There are a couple of things that people have seemed to forget,” Sosa wrote. “1) In America, people are innocent until proven guilty. 2) In America, everybody gets their day in court. The new evidence has brought a bunch of new questions and old ones that remain unanswered. America deserves to know the truth. I will hold judgment until the evidence gathered so far is made public during the trial.”

Parrett declined to reveal to FOX 13 what Chad Daybell and Lori Vallow allegedly told him on the phone.

“We spent 3 hours going over a wide variety of subjects,” Parrett wrote on the AVOW website. “Once again I offer up my personal apology to any and all that I may have hurt in my over-zealous defense of Chad. I was oh so very wrong.”

ORDER TO SEAL: Per a stipulation motion to seal, the Court says some records may be sealed temporarily or permanently in the Lori Vallow case, if sealing them would “preserve a right to a fair trial.”

On #3 of page 1, the Court finds the Defendant’s right to a fair trial to outweigh “public interest of disclosure in the matter of whether an attorney conflict of interest exists.”

Before the remains of JJ Vallow & Tylee Ryan were found on Chad Daybell’s property, Lori Vallow’s attorney Mark Means also represented her husband before charges were brought.

CHARLES VALLOW CASE: @ChandlerPolice tells me there’s a new lead detective on Charles Vallow’s death investigation. Nathan Duncan takes over for Nathan Moffat - one year since Vallow was shot & killed by Alex Cox, Lori Vallow’s brother who claimed self-defense.

Charles and Lori adopted JJ Vallow. He was the stepfather to Tylee Ryan. The people present at the Chandler home where the shooting happened on 7/11/19 were LV, AC, TR & JV. Only Lori Vallow is alive and in jail.
