This gives a little more insight in Debra's case. I think she was abducted and is somewhere buried in the Arizona desert. At least IMO her body is to be found closer to home.

On the other hand "The girl is believed to have been about 14 years old. Authorities said new "isotope" testing reveals she was likely from the Pacific Northwest, and was possibly killed in July 1973" so that would include California.

I'm not sure how it is with you, but if I hear the name Ginger I immediately think of a red haired girl.

when it comes to ginger, i also think of redhaired but to be honest the listing of haircolors is so freaking random. i see redheads listed as brown and blond all the time. :/

I grew up in an area with a lot of Dutch, northern German, and Norwegian immigrants. I don't think anybody is blond unless their hair is completely light yellow. Even corn yellow is pushing it. When I moved to New England, where the majority of people are darker (Greek, French, Italian, black Irish, among others) I was surprised to find that my brown-haired daughter was considered "almost blond."

That said, I agree that "Ginger" makes me expect at least a reddish tinge to her hair. I wish we had a color reconstruction. Poor girl.

I totally agree with you. The name "Ginger" immediately makes me think of a person with a color hair with a reddish tint to it. In the stats they say she had light brown hair...could also be blond...depending of the eyes of the beholder....sigh....

Has Jaime Grissim ever been considered/ruled out? She was from the Northwest (Vancouver, WA.) Fits the age, height, etc.) She bleached her naturally brown hair blonde, which gave it a reddish cast. 16 when she was last seen in December of 1971. Edited to add she was also missing a tooth.

I agree. Sylvia makes a lot of sense too in the context of hanging around bikers and so on too. Pretty wild history for an 18 year-old, with all of her aliases, escaping from prison, etc. Very easy to see how she could have hooked up with the wrong person.

Missing Date: Wed, Aug 22 1973.

An unidentified female was found deceased in Altamonte Springs, Florida on August 22, 1973. Her body was found in a densely wooded area used as a garbage dump near State Route 431. She had been deceased for at least one month, but could have been deceased as long as year.

The female is Caucasian and estimated to have been 13-18 years old at the time of death. She stood approximately 5'04" tall and had medium length light brown hair that was pulled back in a short ponytail.

Biochemical analysis of her bones indicate she was likely born in the United States and possibly spent the first years of her life in the west to north-western region of the U.S.A. It's possible that she moved to the U.S. Midwest region or spent a few months in Florida before her death.

The images displayed are of a facial reconstruction created by a NCMEC Forensic Artist and depicts what the female may have looked like in life.
