The attached 3/1/89 clipping contains the public notice of the divorce filing. Not sure why nothing is reflected in Case.net, though.
It's interesting that Don Levitt is the petitioner in the divorce since his daughter said in the article dated June 14, 1992 that he didn't want the divorce and he still loved her. I'm not saying that he had anything to do with what happened. He wasn't in the state and Don being the petitioner was probably just procedural.

Welcome to all the new members! @lisaNYC That is the first time I've seen the rug mentioned as well. Also, thank you for the info about Don. I don't know much about him. This case is such a bizarre rabbit hole.

theres nothing bizarre about it the police know the story , they just need bodies ,

Garrison told police a friend had confessed to killing the three women during a drunken party. He told police information unknown to the public that led investigators to serve three search warrants at two sites in western Webster County; that they would find the women’s bodies and clues about their abduction and deaths. He also said a moss green van believed used to take the women would be found about 12 miles away, south of Fordland.

The property searched was the same site where in 1990 LE searched for two of three missing Springfieldians. Property owner Francis Lee Robb Sr. pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree murder in a case authorities said at the time they believed involve a drug deal gone awry.
Garrison was believed enough that a gag order concerning the three search warrants was issued by a judge.“…certain aspects of the information we received fit with other (private) aspects of the case,” Springfield Police Capt. Todd Whitson said. Whitson said the gag order was rare, but he could not say why it was issued,“other than to say there is such an order, and it governs the operation and everything related to the operation out here.” Added Webster County Sheriff C.E. Wells:“We can’t tell you anything about it until the order’s lifted.”

Info from News-Leader, Aug. 29 & 31, 1993.
...
Garrison is serving 40 years in prison for raping, sodomizing and terrorizing a female Springfield college student in the summer of 1993.

BBM- if they were originally in the creek The Great Flood of 1993 may have moved them to the James River which is impounded into Table Rock Lake. It also forms Lake Springfield. Were any of these bodies of water searched? Unfortunately they would only be able to retrieve bones now, if that.

##no the reports are they were moved twice , although the van used for transport was partially recovered in the cassville dig , where large sections of a green cut up vehical was dug out of a small , man made bank of a new pond , this green van had been cut into pieces with a torch set , the property belonged to johnnie hood of hoods truck stop bois d arc mo. , and next door to this cassville property is a welding shop . that would be april 2003 , and although d,n,a, from blood was recovered reports was it was inconclusive , in 2003

What I don’t understand is why? Why take the three women? When were the bodies moved? How do you know all this?

Are the victims' families aware of this?

It's interesting that a pond is mentioned here. Remember the Greene case of England? They buried him under a pond knowing the police wouldn't look there. A psychic named Diane Lazurus told them to look there. She solved the case.

By all accounts , including Bartt After their divorce Sherrill was trying to keep the house in Holiday Hills, She had the roommate Oliveras renting a room for a year and a half .

In regards to structure the holiday hills home and Delmar aren’t THAT different in value / size . Some reports would lead you to believe that the home in holiday hills was some mansion .
I had never heard of Oliveras. Was this a man or woman? What was full name? Thanks for mentioning this.

Total shot in the dark here...Does anyone know what Sherrill’s phone number was? Perhaps there is source for old phone books? Was it even listed?
