''A barren stretch of shoreline west of Duffin’s Creek in Pickering has yielded a sad discovery of a newborn infant boy’s body.

Acting Sgt. George Tudos of Durham Regional Police said the tragic find was made by a woman out walking along the beached shoreline around 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
“That person is really distraught about what they found and even for the EMS and our officers that witnessed this,” said Tudos.

It is a remote portion of beachfront at the bottom of Frisco Rd.''
“We are looking for anything. Whether it is DNA evidence,” said Tudos. “Our forensic officers yesterday helping us out. Will be back today helping us out.”
