A Missouri Amber Alert has been issued for a baby girl after she was allegedly taken by two men in Laclede County, local officials say. Details are limited but anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately.

According to the amber alert, two men were supposedly taking the baby to a hospital in the Lebanon area for post natal care after she was born on Tuesday. The men never made it to the hospital.

Only few details are known. One of the suspects is described as a 45-year-old man named Mike with a light gray beard, while the second suspect is only described as a white, bald male. The baby is white.

The men are said to have taken the girl in a blue Jeep Wrangler with a black soft top and unknown license plates.

Who lets two men take a baby you just had, by themselves, to a hospital. The best you can come up with is Mike? I hope and pray that little baby is safe but this story sounds real shady.

I can’t imagine why two men would abduct a newborn. They must have been known to whomever reported that they were on their way to the hospital with the baby. Did the mother make the report? Something is off.

Um, okay. The story is making its way across the news but all reports say the same thing. Right now it sounds very suspicious and hopefully more information will be released.

If the story is true then I can't think of a similar case but I guess there's always a first.

Baby is born on the side of the road, Jeep shows up to help and take the baby to the unknown hospital. Never makes it.

Still an odd story. Where is the mother? How does she know these two men? Is one the baby's father? Why kidnap the baby?
