I'm going to go ahead & post this just to keep this updated & I can shorten it up a bit.

Tuesday, Sept. 8th:
*Arraignment Hearing (@ am CT) - TX – Frankie Isaiah Gonzales (Villalon) (2) (reported missing: June 1, 2020, Cameron Park, Waco; per mom last seen @ Pecan Bottoms near University Parks Drive & Herring Ave; found June 2, 2020 in dumpster near Park Lake Dr. Baptist church about 2 ½ miles from park (DOB 1/18/18); actually died on May 28, 2020) - *Laura Jane Villalon (Sanchez) (35) “mom” arrested & charged (6/2/20) & arraigned (9/8/20) with 1st degree felony injury to a child with intent & parole violation . Plead not guilty. No bond set, changed to $500K. (Original arrested for parole violation).
Charged & indicted (8/13/20) & arraigned (9/8/20) with capital murder & injury to a child. Plead not guilty.
During an interview with officers on 6/1/20, Sanchez said Frankie had been with a family member in Killeen. However family members told officers that was a lie. On 6/2, another family member contacted police & said Sanchez had confessed. Sanchez provided information that led to the discovery of the toddler’s body. Sanchez told authorities she had been the only person in care & custody of Frankie on approximately May 28 when he died. She also told officers she kept Frankie's body in her house until about May 30 when she disposed of the body in the dumpster. Two of the siblings have been brought into foster care. CPS had prior interaction with the family, but the details are confidential by law. There could be more charges against Sanchez at a later date.
State child welfare workers sought to terminate his mother’s parental rights to two other children (3 year old & 4 month old), and records revealed that her rights to six other children were taken from her five years ago. was released from prison in May 2019 after serving time for a burglary of a habitation conviction and was scheduled to remain on parole through September 2022 before her arrest this week. Before she was sent to prison, Sanchez was on probation, but it was revoked for continued drug use and other violations, records show. Frankie's 3 year old sister: “stated that her brother Frankie fell in a pool and hurt his arm and closed his eyes and didn’t open them back up,” the affidavit states.
7/27/20 Update: In a one-page preliminary report, pathologists at the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences in Dallas ruled Frankie’s cause of death as homicide. Died from homicidal violence including blunt force injuries. According to the autopsy, Frankie had numerous contusions & cuts all over his head & body; also found evidence of seven fractures to his ribs that were healing, and one new fracture to his right arm.
8/13/20 Update: Villalon was charged & indicted with capital murder & injury to a child. 8/19/20: Motion for the appointment of an investigator. Order on conditions of bond. Order for attorney appointment-granted. 8/21/20: Motion for Order for release of TDCJ parole & classification records-granted release of parole records.
8/31/20 Update: Writ returned & filed showing SVD; Capias returned & filed showing SVD.
9/8/20 Update: Arraignment hearing. Plead not guilty. 9/10/20: Agreed protective order regarding parole records. No update as of 9/13.
