It is from 4/17/20 and is for prohibited open burning, un-permitted landfill, nuisance health, and the tire storage. Next hearing 12/2/20 @ 8:30am.

I think we’ve got them all now. I look for most of the nuisance charges to be dropped. The 1st degree murder, weapons charges and prior assault will do him in. He’s not going anywhere.

So just heard from Robert himself.. his DNA was found on one of the shell casings. He goes to talk to Polk county sheriff next week and on the 30th he goes before the grand jury.

yeah. He didn’t say which scene the shell casing was found at.. the property or the crime scene. He kept telling us to call and talk to his dad. Deliberately wouldn’t tell us anything over the phone.

Haven’t you heard “stand by your man”? I don’t think people being loyal to “the wrong type” of other person is limited to the low Ed rural south. There are fools all over the world. I’ll grant you, as someone who lives here, that the rural south has many problems tho.

More often, it is the opposite I have seen -- get away from your man...

It does puzzle me as to why these 2 would remain loyal to TJ. They have to know that the community is more than ready to throw the book. It is often the case that people will stick by someone that is violent out of fear, I think that is what your point above was about.

Only for *Tony Lee J. “TJ” Wiggins, Jr. (26) aka John L. Wiggins arrested (7/21/20) & charged (7/23/20) with 3 counts of 1st degree capital murder, tampering with evidence (F3), possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (F-2) & possession of ammunition by a convicted felon (F-2). Plead not guilty. Held without bond.

Hearing was cancelled due to attorney ethical conflict. 9/10/20 Update: No info for murder charge. Firearms next pretrial conference hearing on 10/27/20. No update as of 9/21 for murder & still on 9/10/20.
*Arrested & charged (3/14/20) & arraigned (6/5/20) with 2nd degree aggravated battery (person uses a deadly weapon) & 3rd degree aggravated assault (deadly weapon w/o intent to kill). Plead not guilty. Bond $6K. Bonded out on 3/16/20. Bond was cancelled (7/22/20).

Mary is probably afraid of TJ at this point. I don’t know her, only seen her once. As for Robert’s girlfriend.. she’s a child. She just got out of high school. She’s infatuated with him. As far as Robert’s baby momma.. she’s still in love with him. I don’t understand it myself and I’m good friends with her. It makes no sense. She’s one of those “ride or die” types, which ok fine.. but he helped cover up a murder. There’s got to be a fine line somewhere that crosses over to I’m not standing behind you. I think a lot of it for her is her son, she feels bad his daddy’s not here and blah blah. But she needs to get her son under control or he will end up like his uncle TJ and his father.

WRW has a Court Progress Report that lists Tony Wiggins as a witness for the state. Now, there is no designation as to Jr or Sr. I would guess they mean Tony Jr. Does that mean he is set to testify against his brother Wm Robert Wiggins? It seems like it should be the other way around. JMO

Katerz -- your insights are so valuable.
Do you think in the moment of extraordinary stress, if RW and MW refused to help TJ load the bodies in the truck and try to dissociate themselves from the murder that TJ would have shot them? Suppose RW and MW were just unknowing innocent bystanders, surprised by how fast TJ's temper escalated to murder, might they have had no choice but to follow TJ's orders?
