''Package containing deadly poison RICIN addressed to President Trump is intercepted by the Secret Service before it arrives at the White House
  • Package was intercepted by screeners this week before it reached White House
  • It appears to have been mailed from Canada, and investigators seek the culprit
  • Ricin is a deadly poison that can kill in the amount of a few grains of salt ''

''Ricin is a highly potent toxin derived from castor beans, and is extremely lethal if inhaled or injected, but less so if ingested. Inhaling a dose the size of a few grains of salt can be lethal to adults.''

Authorities detain suspect who allegedly sent package containing deadly RICIN poison to President Trump

A woman suspected of sending a letter containing the deadly poison ricin to President Donald Trump was detained by US Customs and Border Patrol agents as she tried to enter the country from Canada.
The suspect was not officially identified. NBC News reported her apprehension Sunday, citing an unnamed US law enforcement official. The letter was sent to Trump at the White House but was intercepted by law enforcement. White House mail is screened at an off-site facility.

''While naturally occurring, the toxin requires a deliberate act to convert it into a biological weapon, with exposure to an amount as small as a pinhead capable of causing death within 36 to 72 hours. No known antidote exists.''

Just guessing that the FBI, RCMP and other agencies will be investigating everyone she’s connected to and may want time to do so covertly.

I am very certain they will.

There are so many violent hate filled people now who will go to any lengths to do horrific crimes.

Imo, this is another act of terrorism. She deserves to be locked up for the rest of her life.

Trying to murder our President is absolutely horrendous. She didn't care if she killed anyone else either who could have been killed by this deadly poison.

She sounds like a psychopath who has no regard for anyone else's life.

ITA! They need to not only thorough investigate her, but anyone else who may be involved in either country, and charge all who may be involved with the highest punishment allowable.

Thank goodness this investigation is being done by federal agencies in our country, and Canada's finest working together.

I'm so sick of all the violent insanity happening in the past few months.

I'm so thankful they have already found this dangerous suspect, and an arrest has already been made. Thank God! Good job LE!

Police operation underway south of Montreal related to ricin sent to White House
''The RCMP say a police operation is ongoing at Vauquelin Boulevard, a residential street located south of Montreal.''
''The woman will face federal charges in the U.S. and is expected to appear in court later this afternoon in Buffalo, New York.
This is a breaking news update. More details to come.'

So a couple of takeaways here.

  1. Someone was smart enough to either know how to convert ricin into a chemical weapon.
  2. Someone was NOT very smart in trying to send a letter to President Trump. Did they really think it would be directly delivered to POTUS without going through some serious scanning.
  3. Someone (woman arrested) was NOT very smart in trying to enter the US during a pandemic when the Border is closed to everyone unless you are considered essential or....an American repatriating.
Could the woman arrested be a pawn? Was she enlisted to be the person to send the letter but didn't really know what was in it?

Could this be an Act of Terrorism with a Middle Eastern connection? Quebec, along with Ontario, has fairly large middle eastern communities. Could this be a connection to a larger Agenda?
