I don’t find it strange either. It’s split effectively by bloodline. Those relatives related to Barry by blood line up on his side: sister, mother, and nephew. Those relatives related to Suzanne by blood line up behind her, Andy and Suzanne’s father. Of course, the wildcard here are the daughters with both split by blood evenly down the middle. Those poor girls.

I’m wondering if the ‘automotive’ tag is some reflection of the searchers vehicle being parked there but they are now out on foot. A lot of the green searcher tags are on roadways and marked ‘automotive’.

And, one of them is listed as "cycling".

I wouldn’t know but it’s definitely possible. I also suspect the trackers marked are only some leaders of a group, because yesterday were also not so many green mannetjes visible how many trackers there were to find after zooming in.

OK so I’m 20 pages behind, ugh! We are closing our Fiscal Year at work and I wasn’t able to get on WS last night or this morning, so reading backwards trying to catch up.

Wow so according to AM, SM sought out help/meetings for Domestic Violence issues. Well color me surprised, NOT!

Based on his public comments/his tone, it’s been apparent, at least to me, that BM has anger issues, amongst a host of other issues I suspect. But his anger really stands out to me. He’s like the proverbial “ticking time bomb”, ready to explode any minute. I shudder to think what he must be like behind closed doors.

Poor darling, sweet Suzanne.

I hope an arrest is imminent.

What am I missing?

I think it could be someone from her hometown posting a picture of the missing poster and then checking her into the town to bring awareness to her being missing possibly

i assume it was a friend of hers that perhaps posted a missing poster on their own page, and tagged suzanne.

if you tag a friend (from anywhere in the world), it will check them in at that location. and vice versa (if they tag you). for ex. i could tag you and me in antarctica right now, and that would show up on both of our pages as a check in.

I didn't realize there was a federal DA involved in SM's case.
Sheriff Spezze mentioned in one of the CCSO updates that the FBI was involved due to their evidence specialists, extending their resources in that area for assistance.
This is very interesting information though.

MOO I think SM functioned in that capacity for their entire marriage. Now that she's gone, he lost. Guess he just didn't realize how much he needed her...


MOO I don't think it's drugs. Since early August I have wondered about a connection to Indiana's multi-million dollar Medicaid Kickback Scheme which might explain the quick involvement of a federal DA and the FBI. I was skimming the 8/4/2020 Indianapolis Star articles about it and happened to see that a landscaper was involved. Barry sold his small landscaping company before retirement age for a million plus a percentage. Hmmm...

Huh? Nowhere does the article state that BM sold his business for a million-plus dollars! Please provide the link for this claim.

The article states the former CEO James Burkart (now serving a nearly 10-year sentence at a federal prison camp in Alabama after pleading guilty to fraud charges) younger brother owned a landscaping business.

Other than FBI working with Chaffee County Sheriff's Office, there's also no evidence a federal District Attorney involved in SM missing investigation. Please provide a link for this allegation. TIA.

This is why LE did not ask for volunteer searchers when they conducted their searches. They certainly did not go to the interwebs and invite anyone to come help.

It is also why LE is likely "nervous" about this exercise. That and their worry that untrained searchers can get hurt or lost pretty easily in that neck of the woods.

He does not own it outright.

For some reason I thought they owned the house outright and did not have a mortgage. I don't know where that information came from, but I read it in one of the earlier threads.

Also, I just saw a post indicating BM sold his business for 1 million. If that's true and Suzanne's inheritance covered the rest maybe they did own the home free and clear. It apparently was listed at 1.5 million when they bought it.

Also, does anybody know the difference between a federal DA and a regular DA? I thought a DA was a federal prosecutor. It was suggested earlier that a federal DA being involved might be associated with some type of nefarious activity.

Unless I missed it before...Not only did the reporter acknowledge that L/E had the helmet, the same paragraph is the first I have read where L/E acknowledges the bike.
"Investigators found Morphews Bicycle in a ravine on the Sunday she went missing, law enforcement investigators told the Denver Gazette that her turquoise bike helmet was found nearby days later. "

Wonder if there are fingerprints on the helmet or if it was wiped clean. Suzanne's prints should be on it I would think.

Hi everyone- Yes, someone shared what evidence was tagged and found yesterday. Shame on them, it was shared publicly and shouldn't have been. It's important to note that they do not know for sure how or IF any of those items are part of this case. They could very well be items that others have discarded. However, instructions were to report anything that DLR. As much as we want to know what's going on, I don't believe any WSer would want information at the expense of the case.

Today our tracker has changed and less info is available, probably directly related to this yesterday.

I'll try to upload photos later of the amazing efforts.

And LE has to spend resources examining these items, whether they relate to the case or not....IMO.

Were the areas searched yesterday previously searched by CCSO, CBI, FBI, trained SAR and dogs?

If so, how did they miss all these items?

Unless, they ended up there after the previous searches, in which case their evidentiary value may be limited...IMO

I can't say if the areas searched yesterday were already searched by the CCSO, CBI, FBI, etc., but I can say I've followed countless cases where remains, or evidence was located in an area that had been previously searched by trained professionals. It's VERY common, and there are lots of reasons for it. So, re-searching a previously searched area is never a bad idea.

I hate the lack of news coverage today. It seems like all the Colorado news outlets sent reporters yesterday, as it was day 1. It looks like they’ve pulled back significantly.

I imagine the vigil will be well covered though.

Agree,I think there is some good LE strategy behind today's reduction of news coverage and availability of GPS search locations.

Clearly BM wants information and is mentally suffering from the lack of it. Trail cams on his property - he wants to be able to watch what's happening, where are they looking? Those cams may not all be pointed inward on his property. Yesterday, BM could watch/review in real time where searchers were at. He could watch all sorts of media coverage.

Today, not so much. I can't think of anything that would rattle BM more. I'd not be surprised if BM is patrolling his property today like a sentry, and there is no searcher even in sight. That's got to be pretty stressful for BM, not knowing what's going on today, pacing....

I should have added more content. I can see LE tech getting access to her FB account and looking around and just hitting something. I also wondered if the last ping supposedly being at her home was accurate or was that LE forcing her phone to ping? I might be way off. IMO

I don't think you're way off. LE has probably logged into her FB account, but I don't think it would show they logged in. I could be wrong though.
