Anjelica "AJ" Hadsell - COD: "Heroin Poisoning"

Jury finds man not guilty of rape, kidnapping - Delaware Gazette
A former Delaware County man was found not guilty of rape and kidnapping after a trial in Delaware County Common Pleas Court last week.
...
The trial lasted three days in Delaware County Common Pleas Court, and ultimately, Hadsell was found not guilty of the rape and kidnapping charges, but he was found guilty to a lesser included offense of the felonious assault charge — a misdemeanor assault charge.
...
Hadsell was in the Delaware County Jail Tuesday.
The article said in his new trial last week he was found not guilty of the charges of two counts of rape, which are first-degree felonies; a charge of kidnapping, also a first-degree felony; and a charge of felonious assault, a second-degree felony. He was found guilty of a misdemeanor assault charge and was sentenced to community control for it and ordered to serve six months in the Delaware County Jail.

It's a bit confusing. His 20-year sentence for his federal ammunition charges was reduced but the re-sentencing hasn't been handed down yet. According to the article the court ruled he shouldn't have been given more than ten years.

He's currently still in jail. I think the community control sentence won't happen until he serves whatever time he's given for the federal charges. No date for that.

You do not become physically addicted to heroin in 2 weeks. That time frame is barely long enough for someone to build up a tolerance to it, much less a serious physical addiction. IF Anjelica did say this in text messages, then she was either exaggerating or lying, or she'd been doing heroin for longer than 2 weeks.

You'll just have to trust me on this. ;)

Actually it only takes 3 days for the chemicals in the brain to change and yes there will be mild symptoms- plus it depends on the route of the heroin and how much she was doing or if it was laced. I work in the addiction treatment field.

Let's, for a moment, imagine that someone got AJ wasted on heroin, and then committed another crime against her. Would this whole scenario of taking the body to Franklin, hiding it at an abandoned house, planting the clothes and the jacket, etc. etc. make more sense to you under these circumstances? In other words, if she got high with someone voluntarily, and in her incapacitated state, that person raped her, and she ended up dying from a drug overdose...would it make sense to you that someone would go to great lengths to coverup the sexual assault by hiding the body?
Did the Coroner release the info on sexual assault?

Well at least Wesley's stuck in jail in the meantime. And he's been busy racking up some new charges while he waits... from your link:

Since his arrest for those alleged crimes, Hadsell has also been charged with selling or distributing a controlled substance, and as a prisoner possessing a Schedule III controlled substance; both dates Feb. 26, 2019. The trial for those issues begins Nov. 22, 2021, and is scheduled to take three days.
