CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Cincinnati police say a three-year-old is missing from Walnut Hills.

The toddler was last seen over a week ago on Dec. 4, police say.

Three year old child vanishes under unknown circumstances, comes to the attention of the public a week later, mother is murdered a week after child disappears and there is an arrest for the murder of the mom? Is it possible that the child was placed in a safe environment by the mother because she was vulnerable and at risk?

I hope this scenario is the case because the ones running through my mind are very ominous.

CINCINNATI (FOX19) -Family members of the missing 3-year-old stated that the toddler is the son of a woman who was found dead near the Purple People Bridge Saturday.

Police say Nylo Lattimore has been missing since Dec. 4 and his whereabouts are unknown at this time.

Family members say that 29-year-old Nyteisha Lattimore is Nylo’s mother.

According to an affidavit, 20-year-old Desean Brown stabbed his girlfriend, Nyteisha, with an unknown weapon in the 2600 block of Melrose Ave.

Officers say Nylo is missing from the same residence.

Family members state that since Nyteisha never went anywhere without her son, they are afraid that her son witnessed his mother being killed.

Police have charged a man with murder after a woman was found dead early Saturday on Pete Rose Way, downtown.

2020 continues as the deadliest year on record for Cincinnati, with 90 homicides.

Police received a 911 call at 3:15 a.m. Saturday and found 29-year-old Nyteisha Lattimore dead. Cincinnati police say they have arrested Desean Brown, 20, for her death. He is charged with murder, according to court documents.

Cincinnati police and a dive team are currently searching for 3-year-old Nylo Lattimore and evidence near the Purple People Bridge. Earlier today, family members went down to Yeatman's Cove and identified a stroller that appears to belong to the Lattimore family, police said.

UPDATE: here’s a look now near the Purple People Bridge where family members and Cincinnati Police have gathered, searching for missing 3-year-old Nylo Lattimore.

According to Cincinnati Police, family went down to Yeatman’s Cove and identified a stroller that appears to have belonged to the Lattimore family.

At this time CPD says they still do not know where Nylo is.

His mother Nyteisha Lattimore, 29, was found deceased around 3:15 Saturday morning. Her boyfriend was arrested in connection to her death.
