Sounds like they are afraid if a high profile person like him gets covid then it will put too much scrutiny on the prison so they are going overboard to keep him from being around the general population.

RSBM, BBM

Or, they are hesitant to place this high profile person within reach of other inmates?

Scarier things than a virus out there, imho.

JMHO YMMV LRR

Every prisoner would prefer to finish their sentence at home. WTH?

Make him serve every darned day and if he complains again, double it. IMO

He is in solitary confinement because the alternative IS so much scarier.

Guess he cannot stand his own company. Too bad, so sad. IMO

Then let him have the choice, and sign a paper.....either stay safe from Covid in quarantine, or risk Covid and being beaten up in the general population.

But go home ? Hey, he should have figured out consequences before he committed a crime.

Lori Loughlin's husband asks for home confinement amid Covid concerns - CNN

Really, prison is too dangerous and unsafe. Moss would be so much happier and safer at home.

The entitlement mentality continues. Not seeing any contrition or owning their crime here. Doing the miniscule amount of time without the whining. They "don't" belong among criminals! In prison! The angst!

I don't think Lori's career will recover because we all know she and Mo fought tooth and nail blaming the prosecution and only after a year when backed in a corner did they take a plea, and then Lori blamed her husband. Point is, as you say, they don't own their crime at all.

Felicity put out a statement for the press and didn't treat it as a TV movie, unlike Lori who seemed to think she was in a Lifetime movie calling the prosecution's "bluff" and handing out autographs like Halloween candy, right before getting arraigned on 2 or 3 felonies.

No one should feel sorry for Mo because if he had taken immediate responsibility he would have served his sentence in 2019 and missed having to be quarantined.

It's his own fault he is serving his time now. Now that he is in general population in a minimum security camp and can play ping pong or whatever, he has nothing to complain about. He has 3 months to get used to it.

Due to his attitude in taking no responsibility for a year and coping a plea only when he couldn't twist the truth anymore, I just don't see a judge being sympathetic.

Note, he is having "lasting damage" from his sad lonely quarantine  so he can't get over it unless he serves his time at home. (violins are playing)
th

Once at home he would miraculously get better in one minute and would laugh that he pulled one over on the Court. Well let him miraculously get better in April without laughing.

At first I felt sorry for him but after trying to find something redeeming about him in regards to all this, I just can't find anything. He was a very immature bully towards the school counselor, arrogant and entitled with his expensive legal team - being chauffeured around in their SUVs - and downright disrespectful towards higher education and the kids who can't get into the University of Southern California but are way smarter and more talented than his kids.

Robert “Bob” Zangrillo – President Trump granted a full pardon to Robert Zangrillo. This pardon is supported by Len Blavatnik, Geoff Palmer, Tom Barrack, Sean Parker, Walid Abu-Zalaf, Medo Alsaloussi, and Kevin Downing. Mr. Zangrillo was charged in connection with the Varsity Blues investigation. However, his daughter did not have others take standardized tests for her and she is currently earning a 3.9 GPA at the University of Southern California. Mr. Zangrillo is a well-respected business leader and philanthropist.

Frail Mossimo Giannulli — Begging For Early Jail Release Due To 56-Day Quarantine — Emerges From Solitary Confinement Maskless: See The Photo

A gaunt and frail Mossimo Giannulli can be seen talking with a fellow inmate in a photo obtained exclusively by OK! that was taken just hours after he completed his 56-day COVID quarantine at USP Lompoc.

Coronavirus seemed to be of little concern to Giannulli and his friend on this day, however, as Giannulli is not wearing a mask and his friend is clearly violating social distancing practices by standing just inches away and placing his hand on his shoulder.

Oh for heaven's sakes, he is once again manipulating. He just wants to go to his 12000 sq ft 9 bedroom house in tony Hidden Hills because prison cramps his style.
Frail? No, he wasn't frail when he was yelling at and threatening the school counselor, and he's not sick and frail now. He's not even afraid of Covid by the looks of that photo.
Let him serve his time in the general pop with his new buddies. Suck it up Moss, be a man.

This is so disgusting. It is hard to think that a trustee of USC who is a friend of Trump has no influence here.

I think they should go after the daughter who failed classes and a Singer employee retook the class for her.

Wow. These folks have zero ethical boundaries. Just pay someone. The rich are different.

Oh , a thousand tiny violins are playing for this poor guy. Not.

Another parent switches plea to 'guilty' in college admissions scam

A former Palo Alto resident has agreed to plead guilty to a single federal charge in the 2019 national college admissions scam that involved more than 50 parents, sports staff and test proctors.

William McGlashan, 57, a former senior executive at the global private equity firm TPG Capital and co-founder of the nonprofit The Rise Fund, will plead guilty to one count of aiding and abetting wire fraud and honest services wire fraud by Feb. 15, according to federal court documents. A plea hearing has not yet been scheduled.

Lori Loughlin dresses to be photographed doing good works

Did Lori Loughlin plan to be photographed by the paparazzi while doing her Community Service? The tabloids are calling these photos of her delivering food as "the first appearance."

Loughlin’s color-coordinated outfit could have been put together by a publicist and stylist trying to make her appear humble, always chic and camera ready.

She is a vision in blue with matching sneakers, jeans, sweater, baseball cap, COVID-19 face mask - and a bit odd - a pearl necklace. Lori wearing a hat logo lets the public know she is doing charity work and not just out shopping for herself.

Suspiciously the photos were snapped the day after Netflix released its first trailer for “Operation Varsity Blues,” its new deep-dive documentary.

It’s common knowledge that Hollywood celebrities secretly work with paparazzi to stage photo opportunities. For regular publicity they let the photographers know they will be exiting a certain restaurant (or other venue) at a certain time.

If a celebrity needs to fix her damaged reputation she calls her favorite paparazzis to let them know the place and time she is doing something charitable, such as delivering meals to people in need during the pandemic, then a specific "look" is put together for the "photo shoot."

The paparazzi did not just happen, by chance, to drive by Lori Laughlin...er...Loughlin doing community service.
