Susano Urias Acosta
The victim was located on December 9, 2000 in Surprise, Maricopa County, Arizona. He was identified as Susano Urias Acosta in 2009 by fingerprints.

There is a different case number given but the description of the clothing matches and the medical examiner link says it's been solved.

But if he's been identified for over a year why is he still on the sheriff's website?

Now I'm beginning to wonder how many others the police have identified that are still on the UID sites because no one just ever remembered to update.
Is the sketch some other UID who mistakenly got an old text attached?

Same guy - no doubt. Can't say why the sheriffs office hasn't updated their site. The Maricopa ME does an excellent job on their site.

I emailed the MCSO and I found out that Susano was 46 when he was killed. Unfortunately, this case is open and whoever did this is not in jail.

Here is some information that is not listed here. It would have been on one of those links but they are dead now.

Susano was found in a desert area by a passerby. He was shot and had been using cocaine.

Fingerprints matched to a man who used several aliases, including variations of his real name. In August of 2009, his real name was verified.
