The Duke of Edinburgh is receiving medical attention for an infection, Buckingham Palace said.

LONDON — Prince Philip, the husband of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II, is responding to treatment for an infection but will remain in a London hospital for the coming days, Buckingham Palace said in a statement on Tuesday.

"He is comfortable and responding to treatment but is not expected to leave hospital for several days," the palace said without naming the type or severity of the infection.

The Duke of Edinburgh was admitted to a London hospital on Feb. 16 as a "precautionary measure" on the advice of his doctor "after feeling unwell," with an ailment that was not related to Covid-19, the Palace has previously said...

I think the royal family would be very sensitive to the rules everyone has had to follow during Covid and would be keen to be seen to be following them too.

and I think the hospital staff would have no issue requesting their co-operation, since they're working with and exposed to Covid

Buckingham Palace said in a statement that doctors "will continue to treat him for an infection, as well as undertake testing and observation for a pre-existing heart condition."

I want to know the secret of their longevity!
Aside from the Queen Mother their other family members appear to have died at more "normal" ages, so it doesn't seem to be genetic.
What do you think?
I like Philip, he can be so refreshingly non-PC. Hope he gets better.
