The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office says a man who was reported missing earlier this week was found dead on Tuesday, March 2.

Officials say at approximately 4:09 p.m. on Tuesday, deputies were dispatched to the 3200 block of Howardsville Turnpike in Lyndhurst for the report of an unresponsive man.

The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office says upon arrival, deputies discovered the man was deceased and subsequently identified him as McClister.

Investigation is ongoing.

This will sound callous and I apologize, but it's either drugs or suicide.
Not callous at all, IMO -- When foul play is not suspected, what's left other than those two possibilities? If it were a car accident, everyone would know about that right away, so we're back to those two scenarios, either of which will be quite a blow to his family and friends.
After the autopsy, we should hear something soon, let's hope.
