barbvan.PNG Some people try to argue that Steven Avery was a sweet harmless guy. In fact, Steven Avery was a bully his entire life and wanted his way no matter what. One of the classic signs of a sociopath is to harm animals at youth and Avery did that. Avery lit the family cat on fire. [see attachment 1]

Supporters try to cast it as a joke gone wrong simply, but fair minded people don't consider pouring gasoline on a cat and kicking it into a fire a joke. The fact he laughed and considered it a joke shows depravity. Saying the cat simply got too close after he doused it is pure apologism. He never should have poured gas on it in the first place and it didn't simply get too close he kicked it into the fire.

He was already in trouble with the law multiple times before he was wrongfully convicted of rape. That is actually why his mugshot was included in the photo array. It was not the fault of police that the victim selected him though he was innocent. She made an honest mistake as victims sometimes do and no one found out it was a mistake until DNA testing proved it. On appeal the identifications were upheld as fully fair. The victim told the court no police made any suggestions of who she should choose. State v. Avery, No. 86-1831-CR, 1987 WL 267394, (Wis. Ct. App. Aug. 5, 1987) .

One of the crimes that he committed was kidnapping of a distant cousin. [see attachment 2]

He ran her off the road and ordered her at gunpoint into his vehicle. To this day no one knows what he intended to do to her. He was not even supposed to have a gun because he was a felon. She pleaded with him to let her go because her baby would die alone in the cold car and he wound up letting her take the baby home. She called police and he fled and hid the rifle in his children's bedroom. He served his sentence for these crime concurrently with the rape. Thus the first 7 years he would have served anyway and was in prison for 11 years for a crime he did not commit.

He already treated women badly prior to his wrongful conviction. He abused his wife and raped a woman who was staying with them. [see attachments 3 and 4]

and if anything he was even worse after. His wife divorced him after he was sentenced for the rape and Morris incident. He then sent threatening letters to her [see attachment 5]

averyloriprison.PNG

He had the notion that women owed him for the error of the rape victim and had fantasies of a dungeon and torture chamber. (see 14 pieces of troubling evidence "Making a Murderer" left out or glossed over )

Those who insist there is no way he would do anything wrong and risk compromising his lawsuit after he got out are wrong. He abused his girlfriend [see attachment 6]

and raped his niece [see attachments 7 and 8].

While investigating the domestic violence, Manitowoc police saw the rifle and knew he was not supposed to possess it because he was a convicted felon who already had been convicted of illegal possession in the past and yet failed to take any action against him. Far from being out to get him he was cut a lot of slack and that may have emboldened him.

In the months before the murder Steven Avery found excuses to get Halbach there and knew she was coming so waited in a towel to answer the door on multiple occasions. [see https://www.websleuths.com/forums/attachments/higgs1-jpg.294764/ ] Whether he planned to drop it "accidentally" or flirt and flash her to see her reaction is unknown. His family teased him that she was his girlfriend and he responded she had a nice body.

Jodi said he needed sex all the time and he complained about not getting sex because she was in jail. [see upload_2021-4-29_22-48-10.pngupload_2021-4-29_22-48-10.png]

Steven intended to lure Halbach there again but had no vehicles of his own to sell at the moment so he decided to list his sister's van. He told her he was going to list in but she didn't want to sell it thus they had an argument over it. [see attachment 10]

The day before Avery scheduled the appointment he tried to convince a friend of his nephews to come over for sex. [see attachment 11] Note that because only 10 attachments are permitted I will have to include this attachment in a reply.

The still sexless Avery decided on Monday October 5 to call Auto Trader and try to get Halbach there that same day to list the van his sister did not want to sell. He called Auto Trader asking them to send the same girl as last time. This link

contains all the relevant testimony of Dawn Pliszka regarding this and what follows.

Pliszka told him they were not certain if she were available on such short notice and would have to get back to him as to whether she could come today or they would have to schedule it on a future date. She asked for his name and number. Instead of telling Auto Trader he was Steven Avery and that the owner of the vehicle was his sister but he is the one who would be providing the ad and money to the photographer so call him back at his number to let him know if she can make it, and he replied "B Janda" and provided Barb's phone number as well as her address. In the past when he made an appointment for his sister he provided his own name and number not hers and indicated he would be the one for the photographer to see. Thus her contact information was not in the system and it had to be added as a new account. He did this to give the false impression that she placed the order herself thus to distance himself from the transaction.

There are only 2 reasons why he would do such. Either he intended to rape and kill her from the outset and wanted his name no where on any of the paper work so police would not recognize any link to him when they investigated it or he feared she would not agree to show up if she knew he personally scheduled it. There is no way to know for sure which of these is the case. We don't know in full what happened during the last visit only that Halbach was creeped out thus it is entirely possible he did it because he feared she would not show up. Indeed Steven Avery scheduled the prior visit directly with Halbach he did not go through Auto Trader. The decision to go through Auto Trader instead of scheduling it directly with her could only have the same 2 possible reasons. Either he feared she would not agree to come or he intended to attack her from the outset and wanted to conceal his connection thus didn't want his phone number on her records or his.

Since Avery provided Barb's unmanned number he would have no way to receive the call back that was promised and in fact a message was left by AT on Barb's answering machine. He stopped working at 11 and call again saying he was B Janda and asked if she would be able to make it that day. Upon learning she was able to make it he failed to return to work and instead did whatever preparations he intended for her. Since the address he provided was his sister's Halbach would go to his sister's house to be paid and receive the ad he wrote. That means he had to wait at his window for her to arrive so he would make sure he didn't miss her. He clearly had a reason for not providing his own address and number like he had done in the past. He became so antsy he broke down and called her to see if she was still coming but she failed to answer and he failed to leave a message. The second time he hung up before the call connected to her phone which suggests he saw her arrive thus hung up.

Steven Avery is an absolute who deserves to be exactly where he is at.I hope he dies in prison.

Hi! Thank you for being such a voice of reason! Much appreciated! Happy wkend!
Before anyone suggests that Avery calling Halbach directly to ask if she was still coming is evidence he was not trying to hide his connection to the appointment, I neglected to mention that when Avery made those calls he used *67 so that Halbach would not see it was his number that was calling her.
