I just don't understand how someone accused of such acts of violence AND attempted murder against a child is not held without bond...I know someone will tell the legal answer for it but whatever that is...I still don't get it. Drug dealers, bank robbers and others seem to warrant being held without bail but not this pedophile who tried to kill their victim after beating and sexually abusing them.

Here we have JBC who is a high profile inmate. Not only was he caught red handed doing unthinkable things to a little girl but he is also being investigated for a connection to Abby and Libby. The last thing LE wants is for JBC to turn up dead before they can figure out IF HE IS CONNECTED.

Why……why would you give him a cell mate at this most delicate time and risk the whole investigation getting stopped in it’s tracks.? It makes no sense unless, his new roomie is a plant, i.e., undercover LE or Informant.

Something to consider because it makes no sense otherwise.

It depends what they were fighting about. Maybe LE tried to get other offender to be an informant by asking Chadwell about the Delphi Murders and he lost it.

Yeah, that's what I thought it looked like.

Some of the comments on his Facebook photos sounded like he's been into woodcarving from quite a young age. Looks about as young as I was when I tried to learn to whittle. Not successfully, I might add...

I thought so too but, I also thought about his brother who said at 4 years old he tried to drown him. Knowing his life growing up will be very informing to that picture possibly.

I wondered about that too. I looked up examples for police reporting for child victims and all I could find were instructions for a DA Cover Sheet. It said under "victim 1," to write name, age, and address of the child and the same for "victim 2," and if there is no secondary victim, to leave blank. So maybe they just referred to the child as victim 1 in case they do find there are others? Imo

I guess I'm making a mental distinction between things he says and does that are inherently troubling, and somewhat "normal" things that are only troubling because we can see how in his hands they turn to negative ends.
