38-year-old Nicholas Massengill was reported as a missing person to the Kingsport Police Department by a family member who said Massengil had not been seen or heard from by relatives, friends, or coworkers since April 27, 2020.

Officials say Massengill was last seen on foot in the area of Brookside Drive in Kingsport, allegedly walking back toward his residence in the Surgoinsville area of Hawkins County. Massengill is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs roughly 200 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes.

Being out of contact for an extended period of time such as this is reportedly out of character for him.

"From talking to his cousin, and talking to his boss, it's very unusual because he's always on time for work, always showed up for work, and his boss was really the one who called to start with on his disappearance," said friend, Dean Christian.

Christian and another friend are now offering a $3,000 reward to anyone who has information leading to Massengill's return.
