The judge did confirm cameras will be filming starting on opening statements! I am so pumped to see this trial! Who thinks they will call one of top blood experts in the nation? I bet both sides will have someone reputable. Blood pattern analysis testimony is so interesting to me. Hopefully the camera focuses in on exhibits.

Also, Mark Redwine it so guilty it seems that having to wait four years, constant delays and heart ache to the family and to do mammoth trial is almost redundant! Not that I won't love watching justice take place for Dylan! Still, he should have just plead guilty but we all know he is narcciest. I hope the jury sees the disgusting photos. Defense will argue they are photo shopped. I bet the defense will argue that Dylan was kidnapped. And how innocent it makes him look that he "went straight to US Marshalls to report it". Well, he is not going to wait days to report it if he wants to get away with murdering his son. To me, the fact he was the first to sound the bell is irrelevant. I believe he will be quickly convicted. Jury will deliberate for an hour or less.

I do like listening to that attorney that got charges dropped for hosing his wife and then his theatrical arguments at Mark's arraignment were hilarious. John Moran?

Also, the judge said the child abuse charge, it occurred between April and November. Why does that go all the way back to April? Anyone know?

Can we believe this was four years ago? And ten years since Dylan's been gone.

I love the camera person for repeatedly zooming in on the shackles and handcuffs! It was hard watching Elaine and Cory :( It’s been such a long and tremendously difficult road for them and their loved ones. MOO

I think the defense is going to say that Dylan went for a hike, alone that morning, while waiting for his father to return home to pick him up.

And during that morning hike, he got lost or injured, never to be seen again, until summer when the snow thawed...

MR tried to sell that story already, after the remains were found. He went on a hike up the steep ravine below where the body was found, and announced that it really wasn't that difficult a climb and Dylan could have done it himself. So I think he might try and sell that to the jury.

I wonder what his excuse will be about the blood found over the living room as the house had a massive fire so was all redone and Dylan hadn’t visited in between I think I remember. So that’s a hard one to explain away especially considering his son then ended up dead.
