The location is confusing. If it is 1903 NWQ 102 Place, that is a very rural, only a local would know it was there, kinda pond.

There are businesses around 606 SW 3rd Ave but no pond close by.

I tried to find the intersection of 1903 NWQ 102 Place & 606 SW 3rd Ave but that doesn't compute on the map.

Location listed:

I think the address is wrong, try 1903 NW 102 Place. There's a pond off Route 121 there. The report said the pond was off 121.

The 606 SW 3rd ave address is right in the center of town a few blocks from UF. I have no clue why it would be in this report.

Anything typed into NamUs is error prone.

I think so too. The pond is very rural, not something everybody would know about. There are a lot of young college students in the area. Even so, I think the parents were local.

I hope they have enough DNA to ID her. Poor kid, she wasn’t a newborn so someone has to wonder where she is.

It's actually not super rural. Gainesville is a town-not a city-and even off the beaten path areas like this are known to locals. What is amazing is there is so little reporting on this little one.

This sweet little baby still has only 3 exclusions. I wonder if @othram could help. :)

NW 102nd Place is a dirt road that runs east off of State Road 121, and after a half a mile, dead ends into private property. The baby is believed to have been dumped at the location.

DNA testing indicated the female was born to two black parents that were of Caribbean descent.

I feel like USFL's reconstruction is much more accurate than NCMEC's.
