Some posters’ aim is to minimize Barry’s role and responsibility in killing Suzanne. If one is required to go through extreme levels of mental gymnastics, coupled with a lack of logic, in order to assert Barry’s innocence; then it’s pretty obvious that it’s an inaccurate characterization. People like to repeat and parrot misinformation about the weakness of circumstantial evidence because they believe it bolsters their point of view.

Juries often find killers guilty of killing based solely on circumstantial evidence, Harold Henthorn is one such Colorado example. The same FBI agent that investigated Henthorn is investigating Barry. The jury sent Henthorn to prison for life based on circumstantial evidence.
Yup. The question was if she fell, or if she was pushed.

Grusing and the rest of the team aimed to show that his story was inconsistent with the evidence, and he was lying about what happened.

Provable lies we're a major part of that case, just as they are sure to be a major part of this one.

Innocent people should lie about nothing, and Barry lied about everything.

More about the sale of Puma Path home.
BM got temporary guardianship in Indiana in June 2020 to sell property there.
He was granted permanent guardianship on September 2, 2020 ( in Indiana).
The letters of guardianship were transferred to Colorado in February 2021 and PP sold in March 2021.
BM must have thought it would happen much sooner because he listed the house for sale in October 2020 and did this interview ( published October 7, 2020) “ explaining “ why he was selling it so soon after his wife went missing.
Barry Morphew Shares More Photos And Love Letter Nearly 5 Months After Wife, Suzanne, Disappears

SALIDA, Colo. (CBS4) – The home of a missing mother from Salida is now up for sale. Suzanne Morphew’s husband, Barry, tells CBS4 part of the decision to list it was due to what he believes happened to her.

Suzanne, 49, disappeared on May 10 and Barry said he believes she was abducted. He told CBS4 that his daughters are terrified to return to the house, and the family has been renting a home nearby for the last several weeks.

Another reason Barry felt the need to list the home is due to the extensive media coverage. He has been recorded against his will and had curious strangers wander onto the property.

CBS4 sat down with him at the house on Sunday, with no cameras. He wanted to share his side of the story.

We asked Barry why he didn’t join the search. He said it was because he had already spent months doing the same with close friends. He no longer believes she’s in the area. He also added Moorman never reached out to him directly about the search despite repeated attempts to contact him personally.
Here's what I don't understand.
From your post:

If his daughters were "terrified" to return to the house, why in the world did Barry rent another home in the very same neighborhood?

Barry still seems to be oddly infatuated with his former home and property on PP, like he feels the need to "keep an eye on it". IMO, there is something very important on that property that Barry is trying to monitor. Almost gives me the feeling that if LE started digging around on that property, he would be poised to made a quick escape.

Let's face it, he's tried it before.

PS - I feel the Homicidal Lasagna would pair well with a deep bloody red Cabernet Sauvignon...

It’s also ironic that during Andy’s search for Suzanne, Barry felt that it was necessary to tote a gun to prevent trespassers from accessing Puma Path. Yet Barry seems to have no problem with his girlfriend trespassing there, and violating the rights of the new owner.

Well....in 10 days we shall see what the judge thinks of BM's involvement in this escapade. Is his freedom in jeopardy? Is there anything else that has come to the judge's attention which he will address that day?

Not sure I even believe we will not see BM hauled into court (err....attending a virtual hearing) before his scheduled appearance on Oct. 13. Since Nov. 9 was calendared and has now been "preempted" - any bets?

MOO

It seems there is a chance that Law Enforcement may have the contents of the mysterious package.

"From there, she’s alleged to have been caught on video “jogging on the driveway east bound,” “leaving the view of the camera last seen headed toward the front door,” and ultimately “entering the view of the camera headed west on the . . . driveway . . . carrying what appears to be . . . a package (cardboard box) under her left arm.”

It’s unclear what was in the package or if authorities recovered it

Re "circumstantial evidence" - I wouldn't call phone records, photographs, etc that - I would call them "technical evidence."
It's digital or technical evidence, or whatever you want to call it, while at the same time being a form of circumstantial evidence.

Suzanne never showed a single sign of life after Barry returned home (social media, phone activity, etc).

One can infer that's because she was murdered just after Barry arrived.

Suzanne's phone goes dark when Barry left the house that morning.

One can infer that he did that, because he was trying to cover up her murder.

The same goes for things like DNA and fingerprints. They are types physical evidence, but physical evidence is circumstantial evidence too.

I wonder if anyone sent the video of her jogging to the state disability board for their viewing pleasure!

After the 2nd weekend of Barry being released on bond, I'm surprised we've not seen pics of him out & about.

Justice for Suzanne
Perhaps the daily fail has lost interest in chasing him :) around. The news cycle is pretty narrow and there really won't be much of news interest to the general public until the trial or unless there is a news bomb like Suzanne is found is my opinion.

Real Est. Value?
Not diminished due to publicity. Diminished because Suzanne was murdered right there. And whether a jury finds reasonable doubt to acquit or not, reasonable belief will always remain IMO.
@HongKongPhooey Yes, lots of publicity re PP property. Now jumping off your post and speaking gen'ly, not to PP specifically.
Diminished value? Over the years I've seen many articles about stigmatized properties & sales prices but wonder how much of the purported "diminished closing price" can actually be attributed to the purported stigma. Some part, maybe, but couldn't part of price drop be a willingness of seller --- maybe a surviving spouse, adult children of deceased owner, or executor of estate, who-ev --- "to be done w all this."

Some (many? most?) buyers are more interested in being made aware of physical conditions/defects, say need to install new roof, replace windows, upgrade older furnace, etc. Dollar figures can be assigned or estimated for those. That's largely the kind of info the mandated Sellers Disclosure forms were meant to disclose, decades before stigma disclosures in some state laws.

Some ppl have posted they could not live in a house where a homicide was committed. Bad Karma? Association w. evil? Bad Ju-Ju?
IDK if the percentage of those potential buyers actually reduces sales prices of homicide homes.
Many, many factors influence sales prices.

Bad Taste Alert.
OTOH who has heard of home shoppers specifying: Looking in this section of town for 4 bed, 4 bath, and a homicide history, preferably a spousal Murder-1.:rolleyes:o_O
