SB gave the wrong dates! He initially said BL went hiking on the 14th and later amended it to the 13th.

Outside of that, when he amended the flipping date, he did add in that CL searched for 4-5 hours that night but he never, not once, mentioned they told LE at any point before the 17th.

I can't imagine all the confusion and chaos SB has added to this case. We only know the tip.

I did. All I’ll say is I was hospitalised for strangulation and it can happen to anyone, age, height, weight etc doesn’t matter to them. People put up because the other person can control money, they can use threats of kill towards family members, women put up with it sometimes to stop someone they know getting hurt or because they have zero money to escape and it’s pretty damn difficult to get into a refuge/shelter because there isn’t enough of them. It’s all very complicated but I assure you it isn’t easy to leave that type of situation. MOO
I am so sorry you went through that.

anyone notice when the L’s were on the trail with LE after finding the bag, The Officer was showing them something on, IMO, a phone perhaps? (RL and CL had their backs to whoever was recording.) RL, with her hands tightly holding the bag they found, CL leans in a little closer to look at what the Officer was presenting and then it’s a moment. A brief moment. But RL reaches her hand up to CL faces and appears to wipe something off his cheek and then her hand drops to wipe it on her shirt. Eyelash or tear? Whatever he was showing to the L’s and that quick tear wipe (it’s a mom wipe as I call it, with my own kids), this was a heavy moment for CL. MOO.

my first post here. Sorry if it’s a bit confusing! I’ll get there!

On the live feed of WFLA they mentioned that the parents went walking with the FOX reporter, mom stayed on the trail and dad found the dry bag... he picked it up because law enforcement was also searching in bushes behind them. so they walked back on trail until they saw LE.... and then LE showed picture of backpack they found (around the same time as the dry bag) which they IDed as Brian... don't know if they had the remains yet, but I think parents must have known it was over.

I’m glad I got my happy life but I think about gabby and it’s heartbreaking. I’m just glad that her family are using her death as a positive and educating as many people as they can so her death doesn’t go in vain. Her case reached me in the south east of England so I know it can reach even further. MOO

Gabby's Law or Gabby Alert has a nice sound to it. Not sure what those would be yet. Hoping something good gets her name attached to help others (legislation in addition to the Gabby foundation).

Edited by me: legislation plus her foundation.

It actually occurred to me when it first happened: the park is open to the public. Is he going to risk it just disappearing? Or potentially not being able to find it again? This is *not* a crime scene. No reason not to pick it up.

Disappearing? I wouldn't be afraid of it diappearing especially if I'm "certainly within eye shot" of LEO helping/escorting my search efforts.

Rather one is or isn't suspicious of the Laundries CL shouldn't have touch the bag. He shouldn't have touched a leaf to see if it was a bag. He should have called out or heck wave if as SB says "certainly within eye shot" of LEO.
I'm not saying anyone planted or otherwise. It's a known you don't move anything to look let alone pick the bag up & carry it to a new location.

No. I start the search at the beginning not at the middle. A 20 minute hike and then finding the bag would be a beeline to me. That didn't happen. JMO.
Yeah but just because YOU do, doesn't mean everyone else does. To me, they knew exactly where he was as well. Might've been a walk to get there is all. For all the searching that went on over the past few weeks they certainly found him in that spot in record time! JMO

My guess is because it was underwater before.

I would entertain a possibility that the parents planted the items but there's no motive that I can think of to do that and a reporter was watching them and he didn't see anything like that happening. JMO.
The items could have been planted at any time after the park re-opened. I don't think anyone is implying the items were planted at the time they were found, but the park had been opened to the public 24 hours before they went to look. It seems unbelievable that an entire team of trained federal agents went through that area and missed all of this. And in less than an hour a man walked into a specific clump of shrubs and overgrowth and found his son's articles.

I agree. It's NOT easy to just leave sometimes. I'm happy you survived and are free of him.

I truly hope Cassie and her husband get their sons into counseling or whatever it is that they are going to need.

This is an awful lot of tragedy for two young boys to process.

Their beloved Uncle Brian, likely dead. Their beloved “Aunt” Gabby, murdered. Their parents and grandparents publicly vilified and harassed, even though to our knowledge, Cassie is an innocent party.

Then having to reconcile, somehow, that fun Uncle Brian and sweet, thoughtful “Aunt” Gabby are both dead due to Uncle Brian.

The maniacal evil of one person has caused a ripple effect of destruction to everyone in two families. IMO the worst collateral damage in the Laundrie family will be those little boys.

They contaminated the evidence on purpose?
I will say in inclined to believe the part about CL not wanting to leave the bag because media was around. If you watch the video, he looks like he is going to walk one way and notices the camera and goes a different way. I can't remember the time stamp. I don't blame him if that was his concern, especially considering behavior of some media people recently.
