I found this case on social media (SM) today. I feel for his family, not knowing what happened.

The post on SM shows a very different story than, "He left and didn't say where he was going," or "He went to a grocery store and never returned." It's not a page we're allowed to link, though.
I find it concerning that there are multiple stories regarding why he left.

Still it could be regardless of why he left, something happened on his journey.
Or he could be living under the radar, perhaps a transient lifestyle. It has been 30+ years, though, and I don't think enough attention is paid to older male transients or John Does.

I believe that that Ricky Lee Franks is a younger man, who abducted a little girl in Texas in 1999. The resemblance in the upper face is remarkable, though.

That Ricky Franks claimed to have a low IQ... The missing Ricky Franks is mentally disabled. They have different birthdays, but I feel like this should be looked into to at least rule it out.
