I think, based on the context of the docket, that either IDHW or LDS church filed a motion to quash (make invalid) or modify the subpoena that MM filed and in this hearing the judge will decide if it is valid or not. MOO

Apparently a motion to quash or modify the subpoena was filed on behalf of the Stake President. Here's the supporting document:

Backtracking a bit - whether poor Tammy was smothered or strangled, I tend to think that would have been the doing of Chad on his own. He is an able-bodied man, and didn't need Alex to help him. So why risk letting Alex in, when Garth was there, and may have easily woken up. JMO. Such evil.

"5. Furthermore, this is an attempt to continue to drive a wedge between Co-counsels in the defense of Lori. This Court, sua sponte, appointed Mr. Archibald as a death penalty counsel in a case of which no death penalty notice has ever been filed in this matter. The Court appointed Mr. Archibald as “co-counsel” and it is self-evident that there are competing theories of defense and avenues of advocacy or Lori as illustrated in this matter. This conflict is a direct assault on Lori’s right to counsel of her choice and an unnecessary interference to her rights to a unified defense imposed solely by this Court. "

Why did MM attach the conversation with SS and RW? Wasn’t this matter already addressed by the court and settled? If he’s looking for things to support his motion why would he need to reiterate things that are a settled matter? Also why is there an attached resume of a different lawyer (the one who LVD reached out to)?

One more question for the lawyers or law experts: Does this filing seem official? Have you seen filings like this before?

BBM. I guess only one of her attorneys is going to claim that she has been abused throughout her life. Perhaps that's why they insist on calling her a victim.
