FOUR twin boys aged just three and four were killed in a fire after being left at home alone one week before Christmas.

The boys, named locally as Kyson, Bryson, Leyton and Logan, died when the blaze broke out in Sutton, South London, last night just before 7pm.


Their mum, 27, was allegedly out when the "intense" inferno ripped through the entire ground floor of the mid-terrace home.

A 27-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of child neglect.

In spite of the blaze, brave firefighters rushed inside and rescued the little ones before giving them CPR on the street outside until paramedics arrived.

Tragically, all four children were pronounced dead when they were taken to hospital.

It is understood the PVC-covered front door caught fire - possibly due to Christmas fairy lights - and then erupted in flames.

I am in a bad mood today as a caveat, but why the hell do these people have children??? There are people crying out to adopt if home life is bad. I'm sure there is a stigma involved with giving up your children but surely the stigma of neglecting them which leads to death is much worse!! MOO

Edited to say after reading a few more articles hopefully this is just a one off lapse of judgement albeit with devastating consequences

Was someone supposed to be watching the boys while she was out? Who leaves kids that small alone for any length of time?!?

The neighbour said: "She did not return until between 8.30pm and 9pm.

"But firefighters were called just before 7.30pm.

"It was shocking. When she returned she was smoking a cigarette and someone said she had been to the shop.

"She showed no emotion."

The information given in the media is that the fire started when the front door caught fire,possibly caused by fairy lights. There has been no official announcement,the fire services are investigating how it started.

The mother of four young boys who died in a house fire after being found home alone was reportedly jeered by an 'angry' mob after she arrived at the house.

Two sets of twins Kyson and Bryson, aged four, and Leyton and Logan, aged three, were pulled from an 'intense' blaze at a house on Collingwood Road in Sutton at around 7pm on Thursday.

MailOnline revealed the young children were alone in the house with no adults present when the fire service arrived.

More than 60 firefighters raced to the scene and medics performed CPR on the boys outside the property before they were rushed to hospital, where they were pronounced dead from smoke inhalation.

An 'angry' mob was said to have jeered at the boys' mother Deveca Rose when she arrived at the house, where her sons' were being given CPR, according to The Sun.

A neighbour, in her 40s, told the publication: 'There was an angry reaction from the crowd when the mother arrived.'

Wonder if she was shopping for Christmas gifts? Maybe I just don't want to believe that she is a horrible person...
