Moore was employed as a nurse in 2001. She was in the process of a divorce and had a restraining order against her husband. She is missing under suspicious circumstances and foul play is suspected.

From the link:

Davie police pulled the car from the water and Christina said detectives confirmed her mother’s remains were in the car.

The two dive crews — Depths of History and Sunshine State Sonar — teamed up in early January to search bodies of water in Broward County, an area near several missing person cases, and made the discovery in a pond in the town of Davie.
Karen Moore and her car were found underwater after 22 years. Her family reported her missing in 2001 after dropping her daughter off at a Girl Scout camp but never came to pick her up.

It’s amazing ALL of the missing people they’ve found in their cars, in lakes and ponds and rivers.

I think we’d be shocked at how many more are still submerged in water that will never be found.

So glad her daughter will be able to bring her mother home.

Wondering if she accidentally drove in to the body of water… or if she had “help” from her soon to be ex who had a restraining order against him? I’m guessing it was an accident… but we’ll probably never know.
