The Atchison County Sheriff's Office said Monday afternoon the search continues for a missing Atchison County woman.
Patricia Kimmi, 58, has been missing since Nov. 7.
Atchison County Sheriff John Calhoon said the Northeast Kansas Major Case Squad is following up on and developing leads. However, Kansas Highway Patrol Technical Trooper Tim McCool said there hasn't been a good lead in a couple days, and on Tuesday the major case squad board of directors will determine how to proceed with its personnel involvement in the case.
"They will review the case and make a decision on how to utilize available resources," McCool said.
The squad uses law enforcement resources from the highway patrol and other agencies in area counties to assist in the investigation of a case.

Rita, have you contacted any search groups such as Texas Equusearch? If not, it is a very good idea... they have to be contacted by a family member... they are WONDERFUL! http://texasequusearch.org/ This link has all of the info you would need to contact them.

bumping up for Pat... another night without her home.. and I am praying for her and her family

Quick question for family/friends.....would she be the type to fight and defend herself? Would the person(s) responsible have scratches or marks possibly that might help to identify them? Also, the company that gave out those hats should have pretty precise records of how many they had made, where they were handed out (county fair, customers only, etc) and when they were available. It is at least a small way to narrow down the possible original area the person came from. Also, the money clip....who made them, how and where were they sold and what stores in the area might have had them in stock at one time. It looked well used, but not like it had been laying outdoors for any period of time. It's just that the fact that these items were dropped or lost makes me think that she was fighting back or at least kicking things as she was put into a vehicle which caused them to be knocked out the door perhaps.

jmoo

Yes, she definitely fought back and I hope she knocked the living crap out of the monster. WHERE ARE YOU MOM??????? Somewhere out there knows something, they HAVE to come forward.

The hats have not been made in a couple of years (this particular style) but when my husband has extra hats, he sometimes gives them away so it's not a sure thing that the owner of the hat is insured by that company.

LE says that money clip is not that uncommon. I think it takes putting all of the evidence together that is going to get someone to recognize the guy who did this.

Nothing new today - so heartbreaking. I miss her so much I can't even cry.

Thank you for those links - I will follow up on that.

Rita, your mom is certainly blessed to have such a wonderful, caring daughter like you and your siblings. Not to mention her good friends. I can feel your pain from thousands of miles away and I am just so so sorry that you are going through this.

Thank you for the update.

Please consider contacting Kelly at Project Jason.
Perhaps they can help with ideas that none of us have thought of.

Big cyper hug to you and yours.

Over the last 3 days we have been posting 250 posters in a 75 mile radius in gas stations, casinos, Walmarts, etc.

My heart goes out to you and I definately know your pain and frustration. My brother has been missing for over 2 1/2 years and we are still no closer to finding him. I pray your mother will be found soon.

Does your missing brother have a thread on this website?
If not, maybe you could start one?
That way, you would have lots of help helpin you look for your brother.
If he is on WS, maybe you could add his thread to your signature?

eyestowardheaven,
I live south of you (home of the Wildcats). I would be happy to hang posters in my town if you haven't already made it here and the next town south. I work w/a hygienist whose initials are DL (don't want to post her name on a public forum) and her husband does excavating. If you give them to her, she can get them to me. I and everybody else, I am sure, feel so helpless in a time like this. This is something that NOBODY should have to go through. Hanging posters is something tangible, other than praying, that I can help with and more than willing to do.

Love and prayers to you and your family,
G~

Oh my, it is a small world isn't it? :) Thank you for offering your time and kind words. We will take ALL the prayers we can get. Let me check and see which towns have been covered and I will get some posters to DL. Again, thank you so much.

Saw the posters in Horton yesterday (Duckwalls & Convenience Store).

Suggest contacting Green Acres (owned by St. Joe News Press) and see if they would publish the information..it is an a paper that is distributed (free) to many rural residences in a wide area including parts of KS, MO, NE & Iowa. It is published every 2 weeks - www.greenacressells.com

Good article at www.atchisonglobeonline.com

Suggest family post a link to the poster/flyers being distributed, anyone with a printer could print & distribute the poster/flyers.

thanks for the link to that article, bowmancabin -- it's got good pics of the cap & money clip.

I'll keep tweeting that link asking folks to look at the pics!!
