Sollecito's appeal has been filed and Amanda's will be filed next week, I hear.

The new witness is the jailhouse snitch. Don't think that will help much. jmo

I just watched about Eric Volz the other night on locked up abroad. I know thats one side of the story but the evidence of him not evening being there should be enough but it wasn't. they threw out pretty much all evidence that would help him, and a bad guy who has been in and out of jail said eric was there, so he must of been. I guess I'm comparing a little, because of the media taking down Eric, and how the media has taken down Amanda.
You should look him up.
It really sucks, there can be no evidence of you in a crime scene but someone, anyone can say you where there. You can even have statement from others of where you were, and it doesn't matter.
This scares me.

Slight differences with this case:

Amanda was not taken down by the media, in fact western media has tried to show the case as weak... which it is not.

Amanda put HERSELF at the crime scene in at least two instances.

Amanda also put an INNOCENT man in the mix by claiming he was at the crime scene too... much more similar to your point is the accusation of Patrick.

There is much evidence of AK being there during the crime including her dna mixed with MK's in the bathroom and Filomena's room, footprints brought out by luminol in the hallway, some dna (according to RS's specialist) on the bra clasp.

Also someone had to of staged the break in and done the cleanup...:waitasec: . Who would have a reason to do so?

A former mafioso said his brother killed Meredith Kercher and that the three convicted of the murder -- including American Amanda Knox -- are innocent, Italian weekly Oggi reported Wednesday.

Well, I believe Amanda and Raf are innocent, but this story does sound fishy.

If this story were true it would have to mean Rudy's story is true and she was killed while he was going to the bathroom. I mean, Rudy originally said he saw two people fleeing the scene and (sorry if I am politically incorrect here, but it is commonly thought that Albanians are very racist) yelling if a black man is found, a black man will be accused/convicted. The only thing I can't believe is that Meredith was with Rudy voluntarily. However, if Rudy's story is true, it would explain why she wasn't more brutally sexually assaulted. (or I am not remembering that correctly?)

Anyone else have any insight as to how this story matches up with evidence? Of course, if you believe Amanda and Raf to be guilty, of course you think this is all a load of bull. However, any Amanda/Raf supporters have an opinion?

Like the previous posters have said, if this is true then it should be fairly straight-forward to prove. Let's see that knife and set of keys!

The two, looking to steal paintings, ended up in Kercher's house where the British student found them and began screaming. Antonio Aviello tried blocking her and then stabbed her.

Aviello and the Albanian man would have then found Ivorian Rudy Guede in the bathroom of the house and intimidated him into silence.

Not gonna happen. Note in the report it says he 'HAD' the keys... so if one goes from there: now he DOESN'T! Story is a load of bull-you-know-what.

*Nobody climbed up the wall to break into the cottage, evidence shows this.
Somebody staged the break in... who would benefit from that? There is NO evidence of this happening: no scrapes on the side of the house, no dna on the window sill, no dna/prints in Filomena's room.

*Why would these men basically torture MK, with over 40+ injuries??? They would not.

This 'story' will not help AK or RS for appeal. Their defense would be much better off imo debating the forensic dna evidence such as the bra-clasp and knife instead of relying on child murderers and mafia types already in jail for 17years as witnesses. These stories are old news to the prosection/courts (several letters written before) anyway and thus is NOT new evidence for appeal imo.
Still no explanation for the multiple lies and attempts to distract the investigation from finding the truth by the accused... as there will probably never be.

You never know. They could have gone in for all of the expensive paintings in the house. It's also possible that they had Amanda and Raf's exact foot sizes and shapes.

Aviello said he can prove Knox's innocence and his brother's involvement because of evidence he buried at his home.

"I had everything under a little wall behind my house," he said. "I am happy to stand up in court and confirm all this and wrote to the court several times to tell them but was never questioned."

Italian prosecutor Giuliano Mignini, who led the case against Knox and Sollecito, told British and Italian media that Aviello's claims were irrelevant since the court already deemed him not credible and didn't interview him.

Well that should settle it.
