She hopes to have more research in Florida in the not to distant future. Sounds like motive for participating in the trial to me. HeeHee

JA is already reading my mind.

Don't hate on me, but I think this is a valid witness for the defense. She is not spinning her findings (a la Spitz), she is just answering the questions. "minimum time" was the question, and she answered it.
They are entitled to put on witnesses, regardless of how weak their findings are.

Agreed. But I'm not certain her findings really amount to much.

Don'tcha love it when a witness comes up with a "plausible" but befuddling testimony to fit the DT's, well I can't figure out what word to use for what and where the DT is currently going with their defense.

Well that certainly qualifies her - she studied the food habits of the tortoise

Dr. Bock "I studied food habits of the tortoise".

That should reealllly come in handy here!
not

shes studied the food habit of a tortoise in florida - wow - she is gonna rip the prosecution apart with this bombshell!

Food habits of the tortoise? Well that's really relevant....

#CayleeAnthony Juror 16 has a new faux hawk and beard growth making him appear ready to join New Kids/Backstreet retro group.

JA is pinning her down on her area of work studies.

She studied the endangered tortise. I wonder if she has ever studied squirrels?
