Gonzalez Jr. to learn his fate in Billings killings
Kris Wernowsky • kwernowsky@pnj.com • February 14, 2011
*snip* Last week, his mother, Terry Poff, circulated a letter penned by her son to various media outlets. In the letter, Gonzalez Jr. chided Escambia County Sheriff David Morgan, State Attorney Bill Eddins and the media for what he considers an unfair trial.
The letter echoes remarks he made at a previous sentencing hearing that Pamela Long Wiggins, charged as an accessory after the fact, and her husband, Hugh Wiggins, who faces weapons charges in Mississippi, were the true masterminds behind the botched heist.
