George and Cindy in NC

I have to say I'd feel "uneasy" too if I happened to see the Anthony's out and about. Who knows what could happen? Maybe someone might confront them. Maybe a physical altercation might ensue. We've all seen how the A's react in an aggressive and sometimes physically violent and threatening manner when they are confronted on the subject of Casey and Caylee. If some member of the public came up to them spoiling for a fight who the heck knows what could happen. Innocent bystanders could be injured. So yes. if I saw the A's out in public I'd be uneasy and keep an eye on where they were and watch my back.

No charges have been filed against the A's. They are not in jail.
They have never been proven to have commited a crime that would put them in jail.
They are not on house arrest. They can come and go as they please.

Therefore, they DO deserve (under our laws) basic human rights.

JMO

Casey isnt in jail either. Does it mean anything? :banghead:

The Anthonys chose to put themselves in the public eye by going on Dr P. They couldve chosen private counseling. And a more private life.
They now want to run a foundation which collects money and they will pay themselves salaries....just saying. Its their right but.....people need to know how much of their donation will be used to held missing kids and how much will go to support the Ants. :loser:

Interesting. I saw nor heard any objection from George or Cindy on this clip.

What I would love to see is KC's reaction to her parents still getting 'face time' on TV while she has to stay hidden out of the limelight that she obviously loves. :floorlaugh:

While I wouldn't have called mall security, obviously others really don't feel at ease with the Anthony's and I don't blame them. George was accused of child molestation (very graphically in court), accused of participating in the death of his grandchild, and covering it up. Cindy lied on the stand to cover up for the murder of her grandchild. They have had a ton of anger moments released in the media, played over and over. Recently, the clip from Dr. Phil was released, in which it states the "real" story will be told. Maybe, some think George and Cindy did it? The reason the jury let FCA is they felt "uncomfortable" with George, believed something went on with the molestation, thought he was involved. Some people actually think George did it himself.

While WE all know the facts of the case, some people haven't followed this case, looked at all the documents, read the reports etc..the jury went off of emotion (IMO), it's not unrealistic to think others are doing the same.

Some people, like me, believe each and every dime they are spending is money they have made off the death of their granddaughter, blood money. They are on disability, whether it's social security or state disability, anyone receiving those benefits can't afford the luxury the A's are afforded.

The A's created this monster and continue to feed it by their own doings, IMO. I find it a little odd their little media moments/sightings suddenly come out after news of JA's book release. The A's seem to make appearances at the most opportune time.

Dang! Those two people sure do shop alot in different place than their own place of residence. They must have tons of money to be spending on all this shopping they do.

Maybe there was a sale

Clearly they don't feel threatened . They seem quite comfortable to be out and about in public.

I also want to add that we don't really know what is meant by "mall security was called". Does that mean someone just notified mall security so that they could just keep a general eye out for any confrontations happening? Or did mall security come and escort the A's out? Or did mall security come and provide them with protection so they could shop without being confronted by anyone?

My interpretation was that mall security was notified - hey the A's are here shopping just FYI - and mall security just made a note of it just in case anything started to happen and they would know where and why.

Obviously just my interpretation of what the article said. But I don't think that would be unreasonable. If any person or persons likely to cause or be the focus of a public ruckus was shopping in my store I'd sure like to know about it so I could keep a lid on the situation.

If I were them I wouldn't feel so safe out in the public eye like they are. They are a direct connection to the most hated woman in the country. They must be so proud.....:banghead: If they were smart they would lay low for a few years. If I were Casey I wouldn't show my face again in public for a few decades.

I don't believe for a second that GA molested FKC.

That being said, if I was alone and saw them in the mall I'd go to another store and avoid them.

If my daughter was walking the mall with her young cousins I'd call her cell phone immediately and either take them home or make them stay with me.

I think there's a 99.99999 percent chance that he's NOT a molester. But I wouldn't risk my child's safety on the tiny chance that he is a molester.

I think the person who raised the alert probably wanted security to remain close to protect the Anthonys in case they were harassed.

Yes ... they seem very comfortable being out and about in public ... just another "PR stunt" from the A's for their upcoming CAMEO post verdict ...

Sooooooooo Mr. Lippman, and Mr. and Mrs. A ... What about all those so-called "death threats" you were receiving right after the verdict and that you were "afraid" to go out in public ? :boohoo:

And I am predicting that after the Dr. Phil show airs in a couple of weeks, the Anthony's will be "screaming" that they are "in danger" and receiving "threats" and blah blah blah blah blah ... :boohoo:

MOO MOO MOO ...

Same here. If I were in their position I would not be venturing out in public. But for me it would be due to the shame I would forever feel for lying under oath, not calling LE when I smelled decomp in the car...etc.

So basically I find it difficult to ever place myself in their position even in my mind. I would not lie to protect a murderer. I would not clean up evidence of a crime. I would not steal money through a "foundation" named after my granddaughter--the same granddaughter that I did not stand up for in court.

I would not be out shopping, if I were them. But I am not them. And everyone has to choose for themselves how they will live their lives.

JMO,but I think the fact that the Anthonys are so comfortable in public flies in the face of the DT claims that Casey is not safe in public.

Almost anything ,but some groceries ,can be bought on-line. They didn't have to go to the mall ,they wanted to .

Well, that video is weird, it seems like the person is so far away and it's so short, yet they know what was written on George's bracelet and they followed them out into the parking lot to see where their license plates were from? Maybe someone should have called security on the video taping person. I have no doubt that if George and Cindy were spotted and video taped in a mall here it would make the news too, but I think it's silly.

And they shouldn't feel threatened. Neither should FCA for that matter but society usually doesn't always follow the rules.

You can't have it both ways. You can't say they (and FCA) shouldn't feel safe and then at the same point say there are no death threat's against them.

Not speaking to you specifically, just in general.

Yea, the least they could do is spend their mega-bucks in their own home State of Florida and pay the sales tax. It is Florida that is supporting them afterall, and Florida that paid for the defense of their felon daughter.

Thank you AngelWings444 and very good post. I agree with everything you stated, especially the bbm. IMO, they have had to keep vocally quiet until the Dr. P interview (along with their atty. Mr. Lippmann), but a few "sightings" here and there will appear to me to be very strategically timed. IMO, MOO, etc.

You are missing the sarcasm here - none of us believe this about George, but as we argued post verdict - it was so wrong of Baez to even hint at this without a shred of evidence in his opening statements, even though OS aren't evidence. How many people out there may actually believe what Baez stated so graphically? Once an accusation like this is made - it will stick forever - this was one of the bigger tragedies of this farce of a trial.

So I can imagine a citizen being concerned that GA is loose in the mall.
bbm
Don't ask me why, but that struck me as so funny!
Maybe a title of a new book "George is Loose in the Mall".:floorlaugh:

:maddening: But the Anthony's NEVER FOLLOW THE RULES ...
