The Post article contained an interesting nugget: “Anthony avidly pores over online reports about herself and her camera-hogging lawyer.”

This report follows one by Diane Dimond on The Daily Beast that there has been a falling-out between Baez and Anthony as well as between Baez and fellow attorney Cheney Mason. The Post, citing those sources, says Mason will take over as her media rep. But the Post also inaccurately identified Mason as Anthony’s first attorney.
Dimond reported: ”As one person close to this story who did not want to be identified put it, ‘Jose is on the outs now. Cheney is in.’ ”

Depositions: Doctor became 'sick' over Casey's lies

One of the psychiatrists said he became physically ill over being used to further what he called Casey's "far-fetched" claims that her father and brother had raped her, and that her father had killed Caylee.

Maitland psychiatrist Dr. Jeffrey Danziger told prosecutors before the trial that Casey told stories that may not be true. Danziger quoted her as saying, "I think he held her underwater, maybe he was doing something to her and he tried to cover it up."

Danziger told prosecutor Jeff Ashton he was sick over being the "vector" for Casey's story, saying, "I am deeply, deeply troubled. And I have lost much sleep, lost weight, and I don't know, I want to do the right thing."

"The defense has latitude in what they choose to believe is the truth, but the state does not have that latitude, it is bound by the evidence," said WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer.

Sheaffer, who is a defense attorney and former prosecutor, said he's never seen anyone more determined or successful as Casey in getting people to believe her lies.

Sheaffer said Casey's new videos are further proof.

"I hate being on camera, but I don't know. I need to conquer that fear at some point," Casey said in her video diary.

"We have a different stage. We have the same actress," Sheaffer said.

I don't know how true it is, but Geraldo says Baez has left Orlando and moved to Miami.

Second edit: Geraldo does say Baez is moving his practice to Miami. In looking at Baez's new web site, it sure does look like Miami in the background, IMO.

We don’t know definitively that Jose Baez has left the Casey Anthony case, but Geraldo Rivera has provided insight into good pal Baez on Fox News Channel.
“Jose did express to me … that he’s over it,” Rivera said last night, referring to the legal proceedings. Rivera interviewed Baez on Sunday’s edition of “Geraldo At Large.”

Insights from mental-health professionals who examined Anthony prompted discussion on NBC’s “Today” and ABC’s “Good Morning America” this morning. Those depositions were unsealed on Wednesday.
“GMA” titled the segment “Inside the Mind of Casey Anthony.” Forensic psychiatrist Michael Welner said of Anthony, “She’s a strategic thinker, but she so frequently contradicts herself that it’s impossible to tell when she’s lying and when she is not.”

ORLANDO - Jose Baez and Dorothy Clay Sims have withdrawn as Casey Anthony's attorneys, according to reports.

Without citing sources, the celebrity website TMZ.com reports that Baez "has decided to REMOVE HIMSELF from Anthony's legal team." Note the use of capital letters.

The Orlando Sentinel tried to contact Baez for confirmation, but he had not returned the calls.

"On Wednesday, the New York Post reported that Casey planned to fire Baez over his dealings with the media and his apparent failure to land a lucrative interview deal.

Also on Wednesday, another Anthony attorney, Dorothy Clay Sims, filed paperwork to withdraw, according to WFTV.com .

The reports follow the unsealing of eye-opening depositions on Wednesday from two psychiatrists who evaluated Casey."

Geraldo Rivera of Fox News Channel said earlier this week that Jose Baez had departed the Orlando area to set up a practice in South Florida.

Yet Baez’s Kissimmee office remains open, and his website continues to show a Central Florida phone number.

Attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez have filed a motion to talk to the psychologist and psychiatrist who gave mental evaluations of Casey Anthony prior to her murder trial.

According to court records, attorney John Morgan filed the motion on Thursday to use Dr. Jeffery Danziger and Dr. William Weitz as witnesses for Gonzalez’s civil suit. Gonzalez is suing Anthony for defamation, claiming her life was ruined after Anthony linked her to Caylee Anthony's disappearance in 2008.

Casey Anthony: ‘Body of Proof’ finds a bit of inspiration in case

The plot on “Body of Proof” sounds familiar: A young mother goes free in her child’s murder, but the public says justice hasn’t been served.

The script was “loosely inspired” by the Casey Anthony case, said Matthew Gross, executive producer of the ABC drama. ”The only similarity is a young woman accused of killing her child, and sympathy goes with the child,” Gross said.

In July, Anthony was acquitted of murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee. Anthony is serving probation for check fraud somewhere in Florida.

“We’re not condoning someone taking her out, no matter how many films she puts out on YouTube,” Gross said of Anthony. “We don’t condone that behavior. Every life is precious.”
