The DNA match was key to the identification of the remains. But it wasn’t the only indicator. Myers said that after the skeletal remains were found, a forensic artist completed a sketch of the person which was circulated. It caught the family’s eye.

“My wife and my mother-in-law both looked at it and said, ‘Yes, that’s Kerry,’” Norwood said of the artist’s rendition. “When you put her picture up to it. It was Kerry.” The family contacted the Sheriff’s Office.

Kerry May is often listed as a potential victim of the Green River serial killer, but then every young woman who disappeared in the northwest at that time is potentially a victim.

I'm so glad they were able to identify her.

About the husband. . . . . I really think he could have something to do with her murder. (I also suspect Ted Bundy)

When Kerry's mom and relatives went on a vacation to Minnesota around June 20, 1972 for a week, she didn't hear from her daughter for almost a week while normally she would call or visit her mom several times in a week time.
(Probable date missing --> June 13th 1972)

She kept calling the home in hope of maybe she would answer the homephone. No answer.
When she got back (1 week later) she went to the police to report her missing but couldn't, because her husband had to do this first.

Eventually he did. (Didn't he was concerned after almost 2 weeks not hearing from his wife ????? Didn't he call her or looked her up????)

After James (husband) reported her missing, her mom also did that.

After a year of her disappearance the family lost all contact with James. (strange !)


His full name (husband): James G May
Kerry's mom thinks he lives in Hawaii now. I found --> James G May (°1951), Nohokai Street, Kihei, Hawaii 96753
Probably he took off !!!! (why? Why not stay and look for your wife !?)

In the marriage records I found that they are still married (they were married Wednesday May 15th 1971)

Holy Cow! Except for the eye color, Kerry was a dead ringer for my college girlfriend (who had the same name, although spelled differently)!!!
