Not quite sure what you're asking, Mockingbird. The only info I have on Marissa is what UGers posted online, and I already re-posted that here. Do you mean that you want me to re-post their posts talking about her stealing everything not nailed down and LE being on her big time? I'm confused (but it's late here and I probably need coffee).

Anyway, anyone can start a thread on any topic they want (within the rules). I don't think Marissa warrants her own thread, though, since she is only mentioned in a few UG posts, and even those say nothing more than she's being looked for by LE. Not a rare thing in that line of work, you know?

It was never stated that she is missing and since she is not a missing prostitute what benefit would we have to discuss her any further?

The SCPD was looking for her for a very long time because she has a long list of alleged crimes under her belt including stealing prescription painkillers from clients' homes, attempting to break into a former client's apartment and spreading STD's while performing unprotected sex with her clients. There are rumors that members of SCPD had already paid her a visit in the past while she was soliciting. She clearly didn't take that first warning seriously. The one person who posted on U.G. how SCPD was at her house again looking for her is also the one person who was mostly in touch with her. Common sense tells me the only way he could obtain this info would be from a call or text directly from her (since I doubt very much a John would be in touch with her parents or her little brother/sister).

Besides, she is a native Long Islander and one thing that all of the identified victims share in common is that they were not native Long Islanders. The lack of enthusiasm and cooperation from the locals to help identify the Jane Does & John Does from this case leads me to think how more than likely none of them are native Long Islanders either.

If you have two separate witnesses that would testify that Joseph Brewer claimed to be part of a crew called the CCC, I think you've found an actual link between Shannan and Amber prior to their deaths. This would mean that the CCC threatened Amber, and was present when Shannan went missing.

I'm not sure how widely anyone online has really talked about the CCC here or anywhere else on the web, so I'm not sure I see the motivation for your person to lie to feel "important" or "in the know". To me, it sounds like this person is telling the truth, especially if they can identify a corroborating witness. This is huge information if it checks out.

Since there's only a handful of CCC members, I think the odds of them being directly associated with "death threats" to both Amber and Shannan are pretty astronomical if just a coincidence. For me, it would mean that one of their members (or groupies/enemies?) is definitely the serial killer.

I'm planning on submitting this information to the Suffolk County Police Department. I plan to use your nickname here on Websleuths as someone who can identify for the police at least one witness. they don't have to talk to her-they can bypass her, and independently get their own info from the club girls--just go to the 2 or 3 main clubs with a pic of JB, pay the girls the dance $$, get the yes or no they are looking for--if the p.i. is any good, he will do his due diligence before going, and it won't take him long to figure who the "go to" party girls are there, or try your luck and just look for the "best" 3 or 4, take 2 aside and start there--easier, and cheaper, to due the homework first

If the CCC connection to Joseph Brewer is true, it can be corroborated or verified by real investigators. As you suggested, an investigator could corroborate this person's story by going to the clubs that the CCC frequented and asking about Brewer's connection, if any. They can also polygraph this witness, and they can contact the second witness you mentioned.

Based on your post, it sounds like this person walked into a local precinct, and probably never got anywhere near the actual detectives handling the case. Bad move. The reaction by the police that you described isn't unexpected, but it sounds like the reaction from someone who was not detective.

All we need now is the name of the owner for James Bond Escorts and track down, most likely, to an equally small warehouse type facility that also serves as the address for many businesses, including real estate, that may or may not be real.

And, if we just had the name of the website that MBB supposedly accessed and went to for "modeling" jobs, then we would probably see that the modeling company was yet another business address that existed at an equally as shady location with a bunch of other seemingly unrelated businesses for the same address.

It would also help to know the name of the escort company KO was working with in 2010. I think it is probably PPRS but it could be yet another one.

I went and got my permit to enter the bird sanctuary today. Access is from Tobay and it's closed from the storm so I'll have to wait. The street is America Avenue. Now that we know the correct house number (as clearly visible on the mail box in the video), I find it disturbing once I start to sleuth it. I'm finding right away someone who resided at both that home and in what is starting to seem like ground-zero for this case... MASSAPEQUA. It appears to be the landlord or a previous tenant.
