if you look at his friends, he has a relative is listed there and if you follow to his FB page his relative is upset that ariel is considered a suspect.
he also is in a band. he also appears to be a father and grandfather. ugh.


so im sure this is the suspect.

eta, Why does the family need the Guardians? LE told the media to give them some room. Why not issue restraining orders.
Sometimes the media is like vultures. Its' great when we need info, but most of the time they just seem out of line. I'd like
a list of any media outlets attempting to force the girls to communicate when they do not want to so I can send them a note
and then NEVER read their news again !

I heard him say something like that. I am sure if it was edited out, it was because that didn't sound very PC.

If the home was foreclosed, the homeowner needed to get rid of these women. That may be why Amanda escaped.

This might not have been the first time that one of the women tried to escape. It could have happened dozens of times.

I heard Amanda tell the dispatcher that he was 52. Even though they had been in the house for a long time, I find it odd that she knew his age.

Parent(s) to one of the girls was known to AC. IIRC it was DeJesus. If you haven't already, go back to the beginning of the thread and read. A lot of good information back there. HTH

Neighbor Israel Lugo said his sister got a bad vibe from the house and asked him not to let the children play unsupervised nearby. He said he heard yelling in the house in November 2011 and called police to investigate, but they left after no one answered the door.

He said he saw Castro at the park Sunday with a little girl and asked who it was.
"He said it was his girlfriend's daughter," Lugo told CNN.

Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson said there were "many unanswered questions regarding this case, and the investigation will be ongoing." But he added, "I am thankful that these three young ladies are found and alive."

She's been missing for a long time. She had no child when she went missing. Assuming her child must have been born while held by these unusual men. Is one of them the father?

I have a feeling we are about to hear one bizarre twisted tale about these brothers and what went on in the last ten years.

suspect ariel KNOWS THE FAMILY of gina according to the uncle! ugh ugh!

“Gina is a friend of my family. They’ve been friend of ours. They grew up together. On the other side, it’s my nephew. Who everybody thought was such a nice person, was a bass player, a school bus driver, a beautiful person, which is a shame for my family because we are a wonderful family,” Castro said.

Don't know if this has been clarified yet but the recent picture of Amanda Berry and her sister at the hospital, the little girl on the hospital bed is Amanda's daughter. I just heard it on HLN. HTH

Tomba, a lifelong city resident, said he doesn't have a good answer to how the women remained hidden in the city. He said it is partnership

Tomba said after Amanda came out other women came out once police arrived.

Knight last seen August of 2002 and had lived on Walton Avenue, just streets from Castro's home.

No evidence at this point that girl's knew Castro as a bus drive. They will ask the women more about it.

Stephen Anthony said tips consistently came in but none of them were about the Castro brothers.

Amanda pointed police to the three brothers. Police are relying on the women to provide details but giving them time and space.

Tomba said the police department is mandated to charge the 3 suspects within 36 hours. He said Castro brothers haven't been interviewed yet

What these young girls went though, if you had seen them last night you'd have nothing but love and compassion for them.

Tomba said women seemed to be outwardly in fairly good health. Maybe in need of a good meal.

They did not go deep into questioning last night because of the chaotic situation. The women and child's well-being was most important.

Tomba confirmed the child in the home belonged to Amanda Berry but didn't know yet who the father was. They will question Amanda further

Family members of the Castro's have been interviewed.

Tomba said that the women will have to tell police more about how they were held captive.

Deputy Chief Tomba said "the hero here is Amanda."

Anthony said that trauma and other victim witness specialist and other forensic specialists will be helping.

Anthony said we need to treat the women and their families with the dignity and respect they deserve.

216-522-1400. Anthony asks people to call the FBI with any information to help track events of the last few years.

"Yes law enforcement officials so cry," Stephen Anthony said when talking about police and FBI reactions to the freeing of he women.

"Prayers have finally been answered," for the Berry, Dejesus and Knight families, FBI Stephen Anthony said. "Now the healing begins."

McGrath said the women and child are free due to #amandaberry brave actions.

Chief McGrath said last night was "tremendous news." "To find these girls recovered and well.. Gives a boost it really does."

No indications bystanders or witnesses called about the home Flask said.

January 2004 CPD went to Castro's home as part of Castro's employment as a bus drive. It involved a child left on a bus. He did not answer.

Flask said a 6-year old child and three women were out of the house within minutes of the call an safe.

Safety Director Marty Flask is going through timeline, with calls coming in minutes before 6 pm. Said police got to home within 2 minutes.

"I do want so sat this was a traumatic experience for them," Jackson said.

Jackson said building and housing, Cleveland EMS and Fire have not been to home previously. Police were called there twice, in 2000 and 2004

Jackson said several questions remain about why they were take , how they were taken and how they remained undiscovered in the city.

"We are happy that they have returned to us," mayor jackson

Sgt. Sammy Morris said investigation is sensitive and some questions cannot be answered at this point.

A lot of people are asking if The DeJesus family knew suspect Ariel Castro. Castro's family says the families did know each other.

I kind of thought she was, based on the interview the rescuer man gave (sorry, not sure of his name!).

I don't understand why the mother could not provide a picture of Michele that could have been faxed between LE's. She has been gone since age of 18, so she would not have changed so much in appearance. That would at least give the mother some confirmation that this is her daughter. I don't understand this at all!
 
An archived article from Fox News shows Pedro was at the scene of a dig after police received a tip off from a criminal about the location of Berry's body. It turned out to be false information. At the time Pedro Castro told Fox news: “That’s a waste of money.”
