Yeah, what's so bad about Houston. I've traveled all over, I've lived in Montreal and currently Poland. And Houston is the only place I want to live, for good. I love Houston. Seriously, nicest freakin' people on the planet, even compared to Dallas people.

If the reports are true I dont believe Patti is not testifying due to threats etc. I have watched her interviews. Clearly she has issues of her own. I think there is more to it and it seems at this point it's none of my biz.

Well people claimed JW was faking her death threat(s) and then they found and arrested the person who did make some calls, so I wouldn't automatically say it's fake. We just don't know at this point. I won't make an assumption it's fake until I get some kind of official word on that.

That was a bomb threat bc Jodi was found guilty. Not against wilmott

Do we know yet what time this thing is going to start today? Or is there too much controversy? Perhaps a migraine? I totally get what you're saying ... BUT why would the defense team or Jodi and Donovan conspire to get rid of one of the character witnesses that Jodi NEEDS. We all saw what ALV got via social media. Patty was all over the media. I guarantee you she got some serious flack by way of facebook or something. Of course MK is not our most reliable unbiased source... but the idea that Jodi orchestrated this to get a mistrial makes no sense to me. I would venture to say 90% of all the requests for mistrial are just SOP/CYA in a capital case.

I don't think this is a ploy to cause a mistrial by the DT. I think this witness chickened out and the DT is using the 'threat' excuse to save face for the now convicted murderer.

Agreed, one of THE MOST useless waste of taxpayer money out of this whole trial.

I love all of the attention JA is getting. The higher she climbs in her perceived notoriety, the harder she will fall when all of this attention goes away.

She needs to be locked up 23 hours a day. No contact visits, 3 showers per week. Only 2 books at a time and limited writing utensils.

The only other thing I would love to see - all donations, money submitted to a commissary account be stopped and routed to the Alexander family. Not because they need it, but because she shouldn't be able to have even the smallest luxuries.

Artwork in prison is money. Prisoners trade/barter services like artwork, counsel, writing abilities, poems (to help other inmates and to send artful things to their family on the outside). Even though Arias would not have money in her account in the case of a wrongful death civil suit, JA would be able to barter if in the general population.

Having no contact with anyone outside of her 7x12 cell would ensure that she can't adjust to prison life. A manipulator needs victims. If she can't have contact with anyone, can't manipulate money or bartering into her account, this would be a personal hell on earth for her, and knowing that pleases me so very much!!

She probably got the some mean comments on the internet, and they're overplaying it as they did with ALV. Boo hoo.

EXACTLY!! Or something was uncovered that rendered her a less than desirable witness ....So an incredible threat was the excuse.

Is this the first trial in which modern technology has played a big part? When will there be laws governing modern technology in terms of trials?

It is not justice to think that a murderess gets rewarded in the future due to flaws in the lawmaking process. It is not TA's family's fault that the laws are so behind in dealing with modern technology.
