Tabitha is still a child. She could NOT have known the full implication of "sexy girl" or what it would mean to older men to have a title like that associated with her. Let us also remember she is growing up in a world of Britney Spears, etc. The "ghetto girl" title could also have something to do with this hip-hop music scene a lot of the young teenagers are into.

She should not be held responsible in any way for what has happened to her.

Very good post! I was thinking exactly the same thing when I read that other post about Tabitha calling herself "ghetto girl" That is a 12-13-14year old thing to do, and say, it says nothing about "her" She probably listened to "rap" music, no biggy, most kids do at that age. But "thank you" for saying she had nothing to do with her disappearance, because she didn't!

If parents took more time out of their busy life and spent a little quality time with their kids -maybe there would not be so many unsolved mysteries.

After all, if the parents commuicated with their kids more and knew what they were doing ,IMO, there would be less disappearances.

I am not putting blame on the parents, but it's kind of hard for kids to disappear if you know where there are. Telling your kids to keep in touch with you and having phone numbers where they can be reached and even cell phones makes it easier as a parent to make sure your kids are safe.[/QUOTE]

I understand what your saying, but you are in a way putting blame on the parents. My kids are grown now, but I was the same as you as far as knowing where my kids were...my house was the house all the kids came to, and thats the way I wanted it...however, when my kids stepped out the front door to go to the bus stop, especially at 12, I'm sure I didn't wait at the door until the bus picked them up...I mean, come on, how many parents think their child is safe at the bus stop? that is where Tabitha disappeared from...the bus stop...

I have a 16 year old boy, a 15 year old boy and an 11 year old boy.

I can guess by the handles of girls they IM with which girls are which. Some girls have cute names that are nice, like littldrummrgrl, and some girls have sexualized vulgar names like candypanties. I could write a list of possible girls for each handle, and I'd get them all right. Mothers know. Their mothers must also know, if they even took a moment to look, what their daugher is doing and how she is presenting herself. It seems to me they are presenting themselves in real life similarly to how they present themselves online with the names and personas they choose.

I'm not saying girls who present themselves vulgarly are asking to be kidnapped. Anymore than women who leave purses in their cars are asking to be robbed. It's all a matter of judicious behavior, and being careful, and having someone tell you how to be watchful to reduce your odds of being victimized.

thank you for supporting the fact that tabitha had nothing to do with her disappearence. due to someone elses circumstances is the reason she is gone. tabitha from what I have learned from her parents was a wonderful child, never was a problem maker, loved to watch scarey movies, but she certainly didn't care much for the rapper music much. the tuders didn't have a computer until sometime early last year. the ghetto girl thing was something someone just got started about her, tabitha wasn't a street smart child by any means and stayed close to her home, she feared the neighborhood she lived in. if any one person in my opinion had something to do with her disappearence I would have to say that the boyfriend of her older sister certainly should be looked into very closely. the tudors just want some closure to this heartache not critisizim. last year someone wrote an email to one of the news station and went through the whole skit about where her body was and the location it was placed and all that, I don't think much ever became of it, but the police did do a small search of the area described and came up empty handed, either this person knew something or was pulling a prank.

i have been lurking around this thread a bit but never posted, is there a website for tabitha?

there use to be one. www.tabithatuders.com but I think it is down now, its a lot to look thru, but in the first few months of her missing the website was up and it was posted on this forum, at one time there was so much insult and other nasty messages that people left that the tuders took it off, but it may just be temporary.

My husband and I used to live in KY and I remember the day it came on the news about Tabitha coming up missing. So heartbreaking. I believe the new website for Tabitha is www.tabithatuders.net . I believe this is posted a few pages back. As I sat here tonight and read through the 14 pages of this thread I just cried. I cannot imagine walking in Tabitha's parents shoes. I had not seen a picture of Tabitha since the news when she first disappeared. I then clicked on the escort link to check out the Victoria everyone was talking about. My jaw hit the floor. Of course then I went to Tabithas website and re-looked at her pictures and wasn't convinced that was her. A very striking resemblance though. I don't remember exactly which post I read it in but there was a link to the TBI, so I am assuming that they are involved with this case. It was mentioned that local law enforcement could not legally go and search the sister's boyfriends grandfathers place as it was in another county. Couldn't or shouldn't the TBI have done this? I am still confused as to the post I read about where the sister and her boyfriend stayed in Tabitha's room. Is this after she went missing? If it is after the fact, why would the mother even allow that? That seems very strange to me. Reading through all these posts and past news articles has left me with the feeling that Jamie, the sister, knows more than she is letting on. I don't think she knows any specific facts, however I believe she knows something that for whatever reason she cannot or will not share. Also with the boyfriend. After reading that Tabitha got into a red car with a man that fits the description of the boyfriend and then another poster saying that they have been by the K-Mart where the boyfriend works and there is a red car there, mind you this is the early morning hours before the store is open for business. He has an array of different vehicles he can borrow. Does the person who seen the car at the K-Mart know if it is in fact the boyfriends car? Is there a way to sit and watch to find out? Even though this case has been turned over to the cold cases, are there still active volunteers on this case? All I know is that I never forgot this little girls name in almost three years. So I find it odd that there aren't or isn't more around that area who don't think of her now and then also, mainly the media. Are there still search teams? At all? If someone with the address of the Tuders Family would get ahold of me with an address I would like to send a card. Thank you.

first of all, the red car that was seen at the kmart store is a very similar match as to the one the witness saw that morning, the kmart store is closed that early in the morning, but the workers that have the job of restocking shelves are there all night, the boyfriend worked there. the day she went missing the boyfriend had called her house at 630am and talked to jamie, that call was to jamies cell phone. he never supported that family in her disappearence, and he wasn't no where around for at least 24 to 30 hrs after the fact. he used cars from a couple of sources but didn't have alot of folks loaning him a car. he would use his sisters car, which we haven't been able to determine the make and type, his friends car which is not the one, and maybe his aunts car, it would be easy for him to get access to a car at the store he worked at, he could have told a co worker he needed it for what ever reason. he lived with the tuders for a period of six months, and lots of those times he and jamie slept in tabithas bed, and then a day and a half after she went missing he and jamie were sleeping in her bed, I just think that is very odd, because at the time she went missing he had not been living there for at least two or three months since he had moved out in and about dec of 2002. as far as I know there is very little volunteer efforts being made to locate this child or her remains. myself and a few others are always looking and listening as to what is being said and who is saying it. the boyfriend has no car of his own, and the car which I have observed at the store has been seen many times in the same vacinity as she disappeared from, I have recorded the tag numbers of that car and the tag numbers of several other cars that match that vehicle, a relative of a police detective that is handeling the case was given one of those numbers, but what ever became of it is a mystery, I have other numbers but until the police show a interest in looking into them I probably won't provide them, after all that is what they should be doing if they want to crack this case. myself and a few volunteers have looked around the property just outside the county line and haven't found anything. but the adjoining property is heavly wooded and is just a few steps out the back door of the house that use to be his grand dads house. his grand dad went missing some years back, he had dementia and the boyfriend was solely responsible for his care, apparently he walked off one day and was gone for days before being located within a few miles of his home frozen to death, the boyfriend was intially considered a suspect in his death. but later was considered that he had no involvement, I could go on for a very long time of the things I have learned of this case, but instead will leave it to the many post I have made as well as those that others have made.

and after almost 3 years, we still don't know what happened to her.
Local TV station WKRN ran a story last night, but I can't get the video of it to play.

Just a correction to the post above:

Today Feb. 15, is Tabitha's B-Day!
And, I also couldn't get the video to load.

Happy Birthday Tabitha

My prayers are with this family!!

Rocky, good thought on Couey!!!

with Couey we saw a link to child *advertiser censored* in Georgia, Tennessee and Florida...

did anyone ever ask Couey if he knew what happened to Tabitha?

Looking at that creep, you know that was not the first time he ever killed a child......What about Marcia Trimble in Nashville too?

Whoever killed Marcia could have killed again.

Tabitha turned sixteen on Feb. 15 2006.

Upcoming: In March Bo and Debra Tuders along with Tabitha's grandmother will be appearing on the Maury Povich show, not sure when it will air.

Evans would have borrowed his Aunt's red car and she would have to be at work at 9:00 am, he got off work at 7:00 and Tabitha vanished at 8:00. Several sightings place Tabitha with a black male later in the morning in a green car. Its very probable that he borrowed another car.

its my belief that evans at some point in time had touched tabitha inappropriatly at his sisters house while she went there to baby sit, it is possible that maybe his best friend could have knowledge of this too. I think that is why evans moved from the tudors home because tabitha had told her sister jamie about what evans had done. jamie most likely said something to evans about this and this prompted him to move in fear that her dad would find out. evans chose to eliminate the threat by taking tabitha that morning. I feel that jamie suspects that evans is the one that took her. evans granddads old abandoned house in hendersonville some fifteen miles away was at the time being cleared out, this area where the house is, is in a remote area with hardly any other homes around and he would not be noticed to be out of the ordinary at that location. either that is where he assulted her on that morning or took her to his sisters home and assulted her there. the remote area that his grand dads house is in would offer a prime place to dispose of a body there are plenty of wooded areas behind the home that he could have easily moved her over the fence and down through the woods. jamie would not mention to anyone that tabitha told her that evans had been touching her in fear that it would certainly increminate him for her disappearence and in fear for her own life since evans would certainly cause her harm as well if not other family members. tabitha was seen that morning by sevaral folks and she was in the presence of a black male near her home, it also is a possibility that evans took tabitha to her own house and he took what ever action on her that he did and left her there while jamie looked on, then he returned his aunts car and returned to the tudors and he and jamie took tabitha to a nearby wooded area not far from there home to stash her body. there is a reason why jamie met two black males at the rivergate storage place, there is a reason why jamie can not pass a lie detector test " she knows or suspects that evans is the one " it is possible that more than two people know what happened. and when the police searched the storage place they just rummaged through it instead of going about it as a potential crime scene. tabithas body may have been temporarly placed there? but I feel the reason jamie met these two black males there that afternoon was so they could retrieve something to wrap or place tabithas body in. the above post that johnny made is supported by a neighbor in a nearby neighborhood that he saw tabitha and a black male later that morning, or it was evans and jamie later that morning. this is a solveable case and I feel with the persistance of people who care it will be solved soon.

It has always bothered me why the police failed to put a lot of weight to the boy who saw Tabitha get into the red car with a black male ( about sixty feet away from him) but now I think I know why they acknowledged every else who saw Tabitha that morning on her way to her bus stop. Not to mention Mr. Manning who Saw Tabitha on the same street on the same sid about sixty feet away from where she vanished (the same spot the boy and four independent dog search teams collaborate)

I believe that if the police had acknowledged Jaharm (the boy) then they would have had to issue an amber alert, and they didn't treat this as an abduction but rather a runaway. Also they didn't call Tabitha "missing" until sixty days had passed when the police conducted there first search. While all information and the volunteer search teams and individuals "SCREAMED" help a child has gone missing and is in danger!

Bo and Debra are flying out Monday Mar. 06 to be on the Maury Povich show and the show is sending invetigators and a psychic down this Sat. to look into the case.

johnny, just wondering, has le ever questioned craig? he also would know where tabitha caught the school bus since he and evans where close friends. it is possible that he could be involved as well. jmo. if I had to thin it down, evans would be the prime person of interest and craig would be second on the list. where did he work?

Tabitha's parents will appear on the Maury Povich show on Tuesday, March 14th. CHeck your local listings for the channel and time.
