I doubt Juan has the least bit of interest in JW for her looks or her brain. Camille Kimball speaks of Juan's lady love in her blog. A small excerpt:
"I can also tell you that he is incredibly lucky to have her, as well. She is physically just gorgeous. She is highly educated. She has...
My take on Juan's comment to JW re: the compliment/joke part is that it was a compliment to JW that he would use the word "marry" and "JW" in the same sentence. It was kind of another veiled insult imo, not a Freudian slip of any kind. He was saying that she should be flattered that he would...
Winning= another shot at death or life in prison... that's pathetic. Go on with your bad self, JA.
Someone asked why the sudden change in heart by the sheriff when he decided no more interviews for JA. I don't know about Maricopa County but in our county the sheriff is an elected post. I...
I want what the prosecutor wants. He's the one charged with prosecuting crimes, not just for the Alexanders but for the safety of society from the likes of JA. I can only hope the Alexanders find peace and resolution with whatever sentence is given but society has a large stake in this matter too.
I feel that a lot of the tears from the Alexanders was from the shock that this may not be over very soon. Of course, they want the death penalty but the thought of another trial and jury must have really shook them.
The juror referenced a section of the ME's report where he noted that the dura mater was intact. The dura mater is part of the covering of the brain so that if the brain was pierced the dura mater could not be intact as the ME reported. The juror questioned DH about this.
I'm not too worried about that. I question DH's assessment as to whether TA would or would not be immediately incapacitated. DH is too absolute imo on this. All this means to me though is that JA shot TA first then proceeded to stab him. I still see clearly that this was a premeditated murder...
Thanks for letting me know that it was at least acknowledged in some way during testimony. I thought the first mention of it was by the juror. Likely, as a previous poster (sorry, I can't remember who) noted, she was going to save this for the closing argument when there would be no more...

I was very impressed that one juror, as did ws members, caught the dura mater discrepancy in the ME's report. Apparently, neither the ME nor the PT and DT caught this prior to the juror's question.
