WI - Julie Jensen, 40, dies of antifreeze poisoning, Pleasant Prairie, 3 Dec 1998 *husband guilty* *Retrial 2023*

His sister didn't seem particularly honest, I'm not sure if she came off to the jury that way. She said she had no idea Julie's death was being investigated until long after she died, and that's why she never spoke to the police, who called her right afterwards. She lived locally, and she was...

Defendant's Sister is testifying. She asked not to have her face shown, and that was denied.

WI - Julie Jensen, 40, dies of antifreeze poisoning, Pleasant Prairie, 3 Dec 1998 *husband guilty* *Retrial 2023*

I wonder if Julie even knew she was taking sleeping pills? MJ went to the doctor and got them, who knows what he told her they were? Poor Julie.

WI - Julie Jensen, 40, dies of antifreeze poisoning, Pleasant Prairie, 3 Dec 1998 *husband guilty* *Retrial 2023*

This trial has been interesting to watch. I didn't follow the original, but this one has been very strange. Is anyone else watching?

GUILTY CA - Susan Berman, 55, fatally shot, Los Angeles, 23 Dec 2000

I just read that the jury took their regular lunch break, and didn't start deliberations until afterwards. I thought they'd been deliberating through lunch. I was hoping they might be done today, but I don't think so now.

GUILTY CA - Susan Berman, 55, fatally shot, Los Angeles, 23 Dec 2000

As far as Bob calling Susie in 1982 - they both lived in NYC. He could have just knocked on her door . I forget which apartment she was in, but it was either in waking distance from Bob's, or a short cab or subway ride. To be gruesome, if Bob had done something to Kathy in South Salem, he...

GUILTY CA - Susan Berman, 55, fatally shot, Los Angeles, 23 Dec 2000

That's a good point - maybe it was a tarp? To keep blood from splattering, while he did whatever horrible thing he did to his wife?

GUILTY CA - Susan Berman, 55, fatally shot, Los Angeles, 23 Dec 2000

This has been an interesting trial. I'm surprised it hasn't gotten more coverage. Durst on cross examination is unreal. He flat out makes things up, admits he lies, totally contradicts his direct testimony, and sort of giggles on the stand. If he wasn't on trial for murder, he'd be...

    TRIAL - Ross Harris #1

RBBM Wow, that is really dumb - I had no idea!

    TRIAL - Ross Harris #1

I get that - but even if you were totally planning on doing away with someone, who would search murder and homicide? No one would. Is defense going to ask about every term he DIDN'T search for? This is going to take a very long time, but better it takes a long time, than there's a doubt in...

    TRIAL - Ross Harris #1

How many murderers would search murder or homicide? I'm thinking even the dumbest ones wouldn't?

    TRIAL - Ross Harris #1

Hmm....If he's going to ask about photographs with a substitute/facsimile Cooper - will they be allowed to show the result - or did I miss something?

    TRIAL - Ross Harris #1

Yes, they were asking him about how a scene might smell with an open wound, in a suicide, etc.

    TRIAL - Ross Harris #1

I think he said he was with the team that investigated accidental, undetermined and homicide deaths. I remember because it made me think of the show "Dead Like Me", (I loved that show). Anyway, not sure if it's the same all over, but where I live, if someone dies in the home, or basically...

Sentencing and beyond- JA General Discussion #7

First - thanks Hope for all the hard work, and to all the interesting comments! It makes things easier to follow - but it sure makes it easier to fall down the rabbit hole, lol! ' Anyway, as I was reading through this, it occurred to me - maybe what MM 'f-d' up' was that he backed up her...

Sentencing and beyond- Jodi Arias General Discussion #3

I read them, Hope - and I get what you mean. It does seem like an odd response from Travis to Chris, based on the way they interacted in general - I would have expected TA to mention that he'd reimburse Chris if he wanted a ticket, or 'hey - let me send you my cc#', or 'who else is speaking...
