Sent the most recent WCPO article to a close friend with a large family in Cinci who have been there for several generations. Asked her to please pass the info to her family.
Fingers crossed she finally gets her name back.
Using this post as a springboard. Knowing little Joseph was discarded in an empty JC Penney bassinet box two months after his younger maternal half sister was born, rules out the possibility of his being adopted.
Imo.
No idea how she got to the south side from the west side and then how her phone got to Mallard Lake.
I could be wrong but I don't think Brian or Chad were directly involved in her ending up near South Shore.
The remains were found March 16, 2020, on the 6800 block of South Dorchester Avenue in Chicago. The cause and manner of death are undetermined, according to a spokesman for the Cook County medical examiner's office.

LE didn't release where she was found. Likely because of possible criminal charges.
I'm glad she was found. It rules out the dumpster landfill fears I had early on in this case.
Last I read the remaining property was sold to a builder.who wants to sdd aTown Home subdivision.
Forgive the messy posts. Too many ads take almost the entire site.
There isn't much, if any dna found on evidence in storage.
Yes, it was tested.
I read.the case info on Sally Kandel's...
Bumping for Bob. Wondering if LE is any closer to re arresting the two POI's they had to release in 2019.
Clearly the POI's know LE knows...but don't yet have as solid of a case as they want or need to ensure a conviction. Good thing there is no statute of limitations on murder.
The only way to rule the local neighborhood boy-family friend/former piano student is to account for his whereabouts when Anna disappeared.
Was he at school when Anna disappeared?
How would her paternal relatives know all of this information about her entire childhood etc? Especially if her father never knew she existed?
I have a problem with how the author is relaying the story. For someone who heard this information second or third hand..... and someone who never...
So many ads Icantnsee.where I'm typing or read WS much anymore.
THERE IS a Fox News Milwaukee article with video of Laroche crying and winning about her innocence.
FOX 6 Milwaukee: Racine County cold case; Linda La Roche sentenced to life in prison...
That's why I mentioned the years didn't match up. Being one year off and I think Janis was reported missing long after she was last seen. Then with it being so close to the new year perhaps there was a mistake in the year. It wouldn't be the first time we've seen it happen.
I'm not considering Janis's friends or lifestyle. I don't know enough to give that consideration. Way upthread a post mentions the ME looking into a missing female from NH. I didn't see a name (but I could have missed it.) and wondered if it was Janis.
Janis's profile mentions a scar behind...
Is Janis Taylor the missing teen from New Hampshire being considered as a possible match?
The month matches but are off by one year. Could the year be off on either case?
I saw Janis's case and saw an immediate resemblance.
BRB with links. Posting from the phone stinks.
Janis Louise Taylor...
It could be... However, there is a park and trail here. In reality, it could be anyone.
All we know is a male. No indication on clothing or an estimated time in the water.
