***GUILTY***The Verdict Waiting Room #3

I think from what I've read the best quote was something along the lines of he's lost all sense of right and wrong. I think that is right. He had. And this is the tragic consequence.

I can totally see your point of view. But it's not how HIS mind works, and for that I've got (a touch) of empathy...

    ***GUILTY***The Verdict Waiting Room #3

The whole mess is a tragedy. This will not be popular but I even had a touch of empathy for GBC today. He lost the plot completely...and I'm sure he'd take it back if he could. He just should have 'fessed up' earlier...the 2 year denial has made it all so much worse. RIP ALLISON x

    The Verdict Waiting Room

Tangled... <modsnip> thank you for bringing this to our attention! This story is all a bit bizarre for us in the Brizzymum household. Social Media eh! Hate it and love it! Thanks.

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 10th July - Trial Day 18

Thank goodness. At last. Back to my own life. May justice prevail. I actually dislike my own morbid fascination with this case. But I think what sucked me in,over and above that, was my inherent revulsion for those who think they have some genetic right to be 'better'. And on top of that the...

Not intelligent enough to NOT state the "what mother would do that?" quote. He could/should have refused. (5 female jurors down....7 to go)

Extremely well articulated Fuskier. Exactly how I feel. I am very angry. If Allison was managing half of what we've heard she was coping brilliantly! IMO

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 7th July - Trial Day 15

Please, please don't even try and argue against Byrne's quote. As a (working) mother of 3 myself, he (or someone) must be completely detached from reality not to realise the pressures on mothers these days. Unbelievable! What a completely stupid thing to say! (even my husband agrees! the one...

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay - Trial Day 1 - 10th June, 2014-Week 1

Yes, agree, there's something not right here. Let's hope they explore this a lot more thoroughly as the trial progresses. Getting as accurate a picture of that Thursday evening as possible is obviously crucial.

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay - Trial Day 1 - 10th June, 2014-Week 1

I'm a bit confused by differences in the reporting, although both agree about the 4pm hairdresser appointment on the 19th April. Courier Mail - no mention of dinner on 19th with best friend - Alison had "arranged for her daughters to sleep over at a friend’s house that night" but...
