I had forgotten about this case until it popped up on my newsfeed today. I'm glad to see that the perpetrators have pled guilty and JK has been sentenced. What they did to Dr. B was heinous. IMHO

I live in a suburban area. Our PD has something called "shot spotter" that can distinguish the sound of gunshots from fireworks or cars backfiring. When "shot spotter" detects a gunshot or multiple gunshots, PD is immediately dispatched to the location of the gunshots. Technology is amazing...
