Here's what Heavy.com has to say. Apparently the head of LA's Chinese Chamber of Commerce said the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute, but Sheriff Luna says that has not been confirmed.

I hope that at some point we hear more about the heroes who...
It could mean that the 8458 phone was near Moscow and was picked up both both a cell phone tower that provides service to Moscow and also by one in a neighboring area, in a way that would imply that the phone was in the neighboring area and not in Moscow itself.

One place that was reported was in this New York Times piece (bolded by me for emphasis):
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/12/30/us/idaho-murders-suspect-bryan-kohberger.html
Later in the same piece, another fellow student says something similar:
My guess is that some error was made about the dates. If BK graduated from DeSales in 2022 and posted an apparently approved project in May of that year, couldn't he have been at DeSales more recently? Someone should check my math, but if he's 28 now, in 2010 he would have been ~16 years old. In...
There is a MA in Criminal Justice program at DeSales. I don't know what department or division it's housed in, or whether it's free-standing.

I can't keep up with the threads so please forgive me if this has already been posted. Lots of useful links, IMO.

BK got an MA in Criminal Justice from DeSales University in May of 2022, which is when he posted that survey. Maybe he was working with his old advisor and wanted to carry the research forward into his PhD work at Washington State University at Pullman. If he indeed committed the murders, he did...
Yes, maybe the city (with the public's help) could buy it from the owner and tear it down. Or I guess the owner could renovate it so it looks different and is more secure. We'll see what happens.
Whatever happens to the house, the main thing is that there needs to be justice for the victims...
While it's true that any photo can be altered, Moscow PD's remarks may be a reference to the bodycam video of the police confronting underage drinkers on Band field. (I think the video was released to NewsNation in response to a FOIA request.) In some versions, someone appears to have altered...
My guess is that the house will eventually be demolished. Who would want to live there after what happened? The area could be turned by the city into a memorial pocket park, or maybe someone would build another house there that wasn't so clearly connected to the murders.

As far as I know, that's the car that was seen in the video footage passing a gas station in Moscow ID. It's not 100% certain that the car is the white Elantra that LE is searching for.

I'm not sure. While you may well be right, I think it's possible that the killer is in fact in their circle, though possibly in the outer parts of it. Familiarity with the house would have helped a lot with the murders.
Even if the killer wasn't close to the victims, he (or she or they) could...
Regarding the Moscow police daily log page, I believe they have archives (see link). I'm not sure whether immediate archiving has always been the norm.

If the Independent piece is right that someone was sleeping in the car, where did that person go?
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/crime/idaho-murders-car-found-hyundai-elantra-oregon-b2248814.html
Do they know who the person is? The person could have been a transient who got...
The driver's side windows of the white car in the noise complaint video are different from those in the sample photos of a Hyundai Elantra released by the police. In the police sample photos (and for that matter in the crashed car in Oregon), the bottom of the back seat windows curves up near...
In one of these many threads, someone pointed out that a naked person would shed skin cells, hairs, and other things at the scene and thus would leave a lot of their DNA. Which is not to say it couldn't happen, but it seems unlikely. (They'd have to put their clothes back on before going back...
I wonder how long it takes for a heart to dry out when placed in salt. If one goes by this Wikihow post, it could take a long time:
