Mason’s step-grandmother (Mary’s mom) passed away last week. She loved him from the moment he entered the family & didn’t want it to be true that Mason did this. Through the end, she was still advocating for Mason to be able to continue his education behind bars.

I have my doubts the whole “DB was over & MS told him she didn’t want him there” thing ever even happened. These people aren’t the most reliable of witnesses.

I think MAYBE it’s possible that the grandpa called the police at the time but didn’t press charges (because he was told by MS that DB was in a mental health crisis) BUT that DB was taken to get mental health by the first responders at the time. I could be wrong, but it sounds possible to me...
