I agree, we don't even know exactly what the girls know. I don't think it's as simple as 'they shouldn't be visiting their father'. I just think it's complex and decisions should be made on a case by case basis.
Oh man, those victim impact statements...I'm in tears reading Mr Dickie's. I just can't imagine...the feeling of leaving your daughter out there every night she wasn't found. The scenarios that must run through his head about what happened to his baby girl that night... when they are supposed to...

Thanks Alioop, I thought I read that the other day too, but hubby and I were surprised. Is that recent thing. So a conviction of murder, regardless of circumstances is automatic life?
I know you are all in bed right now, but I'm overseas on a diff time zone and had to post after all the discussion about 'signs' today. I just noticed a 'rivulet' of blood trickling down my foot from my ankle. Not as much as in the captiva, but I have no idea how it got there!
I actually asked my brother about this (he is a QPS cop) - why the sudden escalation in the case - CIB pretty much straight away etc..? He said it is an indicator that the cops were suspicious straight away probably of either GBC's demeanour, or the scratches, or both.
M (and my bro's) OO
